I have the Allegro and I love it, right now I am just quilting pieces together with 1//4 seams. It really does a beautiful job on button holes as well.
I am going to find a local dealer (well, as local as I can) and see if I can try out this machine. I am wanting to get a new machine, and this one seems to have all the features I am looking for!
Thank you for the demonstration Please think to use contrasting thread and fabric so it can be seen better on camera. Hold things steady when showing stitches. Hard to see when moving the fabric around, flipping it back and forth and running your fingers over the stitching.
I just bought the Allegro and I'm having an absolute nightmare of a time with tension. I'm trying to attempt free motion. The minute I drop the feed dogs the bobbin thread bunches up into huge piles. Just making a simple line it does the same thing. I used the single stitch plate as instructed with the manual, dropped the feed dogs and whammy, a ball of thread on the bottom of my fabric. I'm at a loss at what to do. I keep raising the tension like the manual suggests too. What am I doing wrong?
@@eddigilstrap9627 I took it back and they were having the same problem. They sent it for repair. Came back saying it had to be on tension 9 for it to work! I still was having tension issues even after that so I just exchanged it for a Crescendo. Much, much happier!
I bought Allegro few months ago as an upgrade for my $280 Brother XR9500PRW.... absolutely hate it. I don't quilt but make clothes, which I told the shop where I got it, and majority of the time I sew with knits. Allegro eats my fabric, when attempted to use twin needle, right needle doesn't catch. Stretch stitch, #004 is awful, totally useless. Can't use a twin needle or stretch stitch. I can't express how dissatisfied and disappointed I am and this is not a cheap machine by any means. I never had any issues with my cheap Brother. The only good things are auto knot, large throat and auto thread cutter. But then, what's the point if the machine doesn't do what I need it to do. Oh and lettering...made such a mess it ate the thread in the needle shaft housing and I had to bring the machine to the repair shop literally after 1 time use. I'm not novice, I've been sewing for the past 14-15 years. All this said, if all you're sewing are woven fabrics, this machine is good. As good as my cheap Brother.
I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and I would love to see a video on using the alphabet feature. Thanks
Just got my Allegro....fine it super simple to use... COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! We are best of friends already!

just ordered mine. this is exactly what I've looking for to fit my quilting needs without having to buy an expensive long arm machine.
Thanks for a brief and easy tutorial. Learned a few things.
Thank you..just got mine and had not played yet
Great threading instruction!
I just got mine and I am finding it intimidating. Need more of these videos😅
Register your machine with Babylock and you get 2 free months of SewEd. A lot of good videos there.
You should get a 60 day free trial from Babylock for SewEd. Take advantage of it...great videos!
me as well, still trying
Went from a 30 plus year old Pfaff to this. Little bit of a learning curve, but I LOVE it. Just did a quilt on it with FMQ (first one ever).
Thanks for sharing! I just got mine and I can't wait to start some projects!

I love my Allergo but am having a problem with free motion tension can you suggest anything.
My needle keeps falling out? Is there a special needle I should be using?

I just got my new Allegro yesterday and it won't sew will not grab material and pull threw can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong
Have you tried making purses on here with Faux Leather or Cork?
Cutter isn’t working. May be user issue. Any tips?
Do you take trade ins? I have a jazz 2 but I want computerized allegro
we sure do give us a call!
The threader is a step down from other threaders. Why do they do that?
Its the same as the lower end models so I would assume it was to keep consumer cost down.
Totally agree! My BL Brilliant has a better threader!

I’m having the same problem
Make sure you are threading the take up properly, this problem is most commonly caused by improper threading.
Just got mine, having the same issue and very disappointed about how flimsy the bobine cover is .

I am having bobbin issues as well. It keeps bunching up.
Thank you Jordan.
You are very welcome!
Is there an extension table available?
I recommend sew steady tables, they can make a custom table for any machine.
@@carolinasewnvac735 actually I am looking to have an extension but thank you.
Yes, there are a couple available. A must for quilting!
I couldn’t get the threader to work.
Ok push the white lever towards the right while holding it down as the last step. Bingo.
Do they have a serpentine stitch
It has over 200 stitches!
How much
Check the link! Its all there so you can order!
He needs a hair cut
