It has to be the real-life-inspired accuracy of the way he said it. The timing was so unexpectedly perfect. Made me do a comedic double take haha. I laughed a good 10 seconds. That’s rare from UA-cam haha
i feel like an evolution has happened this year. The rapport of the announcing has become something special, funny, caring, insightful ... exposing all the layers and years of experience. So many players came to fruition, Eagle caught fire many times...unstoppable..(-45) Wysocki became casually brilliant, with less effort and a smile. Drew here finally connecting all his dots. It takes work and even more work after that, but the fruit is sweet at the end.
An evolution in the disc golf community as a whole I would say! As a newcomer myself, I went back and watched some historical tournaments and such and it seems like the game is growing so rapidly. It’s crazy to witness! Shot my first round even par today was hyped on it, keep chuckin plastics y’all!
I like this course because it doesn't just reward distance like some of the ball-golf courses. It rewards accuracy, consistency, and shape. To birdie, each shot has to be placed to correctly setup the next shot.
Seriously incredible how this channel only has 350k subs. You guys are doing SO much for the disc golf community. I literally knew nothing about disc golf a couple months ago, but ever since I've started watching Jomez, I'm addicted to it. Love you guys, keep it up!

They're well established with substantially larger fanbases, but (thanks in large part to people like Jomez) disc golf is growing much more quickly. Jomez had 221,000 subscribers only 1 year ago (Aug 8, 2020), and fewer than 100,000 as recently as Feb 2019. Pretty phenomenal growth.

At the end of both R2 and R3, all four players looked like they had been in a street fight. What an evil, evil course. It's fun to watch these guys actually struggle to be under par.
Drew Gibson will be in Kansas City January 22nd for a backhand clinic for anyone in the area. I'm so happy to see him improve from his already solid game. I hope to see him in more coverage in 2022.

Poor Kyle Klein. He went down -5 in 5 holes the next round to bring him to -18 while Ricky and Calvin were still tied at -17, but then the tournament was suspended due to weather conditions and they only counted the first 3 rounds. I was excited to see the battle for the win.
I personally don't enjoy seeing fairways this tight, with such specific landing zones (less than a 40 ft circle), when combined with rough this thick. It's nice to see different skill sets required to become champion of an event, but this course doesn't even give any incentive to risk aggressive shots. Whereas long open holes with ob areas short and long of the green still can provide score separation, and have more opportunities to see amazing shots be rewarded

Great commentating! I've always been a fan of the trio but feel like the team really hit the sweet spot with just the right mix of humor and analysis for this course.

Jeremy, just drop the whole disagreeing with the course par numbers. Whatever it's labeled, they're all still playing the against the same numbers! I love that it's a really tough course, and they're still putting up monster numbers under par!

There need to be courses where par is a good score for even pros, and Jerm is one of the biggest voices for the sport, so him constantly complaining is not a good look.

i think one of the latitude 64 black course's are around the same difficulty as hole 12. The longest course in Sweden and one of the longest courses in the world is the diskgolf terminalen black line course 1 hole on a whopping 1171ft par 6. Having a 6 in on this course is worth celebrating and anything under is worth the whole crowd giving you a high five. Shortly said, its *_HARD_* .

Square,or rectangular marker discs might help when it come to a player, selecting their mark and line of play when the basket is not in front of them and the chosen line of play is. Possibly even when a player decides not to remove his disc from the lie, the marker would be an indication of where the direction of play is intended and therefor, where the legal footing is allowed.
Soooo, where do we read about this missing fourth round? Maybe a comment about it in the description at the very least? I'm not sure what happened or how the end result plays out.

I believe the 4th round(final round) got cancelled because of thunder storms. So the 3rd round ended up being the final round.
