One of the reasons we have so many amazing Filipino singers now is Regine. She set the bar so high that the power divas, like Morisette, had to up their game. Many of them are vestal virgins to this goddess. The training she received from her father - being immersed in chest-deep seawater to build up her power - is legendary. Her power is actually the secret of her beautiful soft notes.
