  • The Kiddo put this one together for you.
I took the Kiddo down to PGP for some weight experimenting... After having him do a couple of sessions running quite a bit heavier than race weight, he did a session with no weight added, not even a seat insert.
Don't miss the action around 3 minutes in... fun stuff.

I find that the arrive and drives help my self-esteem

I tell the Kiddo that it's like picking a fight with someone half your size. No Glory in winning that battle, but a whole lot of shame if you get your @$$ handed to you.😃

Went for the first time yesterday, best was a 82.8, alot to improve on, but not the worst for first time.

82.8 is a great time for a first time. Keep after it, come race in the Saturday morning leagues, you'll get faster for sure. Good Luck!

been there only twice, first time getting only about 110s, but second time getting around low 92s, a lot better and more confidence in the kart now

He's pretty good a dodging slow karts. Problem is, you never know which way they are going to go...

Right?😃 Todd getting 79 second laps in isn't all that surprising. Getting 79's when the other karts are basically moving obstacle's is another.

I do most of my driving here on the weekdays when there are very few people, but I occasionally go on the weekends to practice overtaking. It's more difficult when you don't know where they're going to go, but I've always thought passing is a skill too often overlooked by "fast" drivers in these situations. Unless you're getting the blue flag, its on you to overtake, its a skill not a right!

Yeah, the best just move through traffic seemingly with ease, highly developed sense of whatever they're driving.... hot lapping is great practice, but if you come out and compete in the Saturday morning leagues, you'll get faster and develop race craft and traffic in arrive and drive will be less of impact on your session when you're hot lapping.

@@hutchingsmotorsports3920 I've been trying to improve my time enough to compete because that sounds like a blast.

@@Tyr1001 Brian, I was just updating some of my PGP data and noticed that you made into the "fastest of the week" group a couple of weeks ago... You are fast enough to race!
