I really like that ya'll sit and listen to the song instead of pausing it ten million times to talk about and going off on tangents
I love this song. It's so sad. I know what she's talking about when she says from the time "When they pulled me apart", she is talking about when people on social media "cancelled" her and called her a snake. I am a bit confused about why she is so sad in this. We don't know anything about her current relationship, so I don't know what this is about, but it's beautiful.
Taylor released her bonus track The Lakes. It would be a good one to review - and It's beautiful.
As much as I know only a few songs in this album are directly related to her personal life most of the songs are about stories about other people's life or some fictional characters
like the last great American dynasty is about the former owner of her Rhode island house and epiphany is about her grandfather who's a field medic and cardigan, August and Betty is a love triangle and 3 different persons perspective
And I think most of the deep songs are about her formar record label but she twisted it so it sounds like some romantic song
I think that's a beautiful song. 💗

My favs on the album are the 1, August, my tears ricochet and illicit affairs
This song is one of a few on this album that is about her relationship with Scott Borshetta. Scott sold her original masters to Scooter Braun, who is her ultimate Twitter troll among other ways he has tried to dedigrate her. She did however purposely leave her lyrics much less on the nose than she normally does, so people could have more of their own interpretations in keeping with the title of the album Folklore.
