  • How To Factory Reset Your Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Android Phone Before Selling It or Returning It
This video shows you how to factory reset your Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. This will be something that you will want to do if you are returning your S24 Ultra back to Samsung for a refund. It is also something that you would do if you use your S24 Ultra as a trade-in device with Samsung if you upgrade to a new Samsung phone in the future. Another reason for doing a factory reset of your S24 Ultra is if you are selling it or gifting it to a family member or friend.
This guide will also work to factory reset other Android phones or tablets and also Samsung Tab tablet.
When you factory reset your phone it will erase all the data from your phone, including account logins, all personal information, pictures, videos and any files you have created on your phone. So make sure that you have saved and backed-up any important files, documents, picture, videos etc. To an external storage drive or cloud storage before doing the factory reset, as everything will be deleted from the phone.
Doing a factory reset does not delete your Google account or any other account logins from anywhere other than the phone that you are factory resetting. TO BE CLEAR, your Google account or any other account information on your phone are only being deleted from that phone and nowhere else. Your Google account, Samsung account or any other account will still be safe and available on any other devices that you use those accounts on.
Doing a factory reset ensures that all of your personal data, personal files, logins and account information have been erased and deleted from the phone being factory reset. This will take your phone back to being a blank phone and ready for someone else to use and log into and make the phone their own. The factory reset also ensures your privacy.

My phone screen cracked and I used insurance to replace the screen, which lasted two days before the screen went berserk for no reason. Flashing white horizontal lines over black space, yet it was responsive to touch and the software seemed to be working fine. But I could just barely make out what was on the screen every few minutes... So they sent me a new phone replacement and I spent several hours guessing the factory reset button locations and what was being asked on the old phone. I couldn't have done it without someone like you walking me through the process on your screen. Much thanks 👍🏼

I’m about to get this phone delivered in the next hour and you’re already putting out videos on how to get rid of it? Did I make a mistake?? 😜😜
Btw Dave, I just realized your channel logo that the top design is an homage to the Devo hat. Very clever. Great taste. I was also actually reading some articles about your music hey-day. I’ve got a lot of friends in music here in Los Angeles and they would kill to have a hit single. I think you should do more music especially with how good that beat is that you put together for that bit rate encoded video you did last year. 🤘

“already putting out videos on how to get rid of it” 😆😆😆😆 Alright, Gary. On reflection it does sound like I am telling people to send it back 😆 The phone is actually awesome and after some recent updates it is brilliant for gaming, although that’s probably a niche use for most people. If I weren’t so tied into the Apple ecosystem, Macs for work etc. I would easily be using the S24 Ultra for my daily phone use. I still have a lot of videos to do about the Ultra, like how good its cameras are etc. Plus I will so some comparisons with the 15 Pro Max.
I’m glad you noticed my DEVO logo, no one ever does 😆 I’m the world’s biggest DEVO fan, some of my old friends still call me DEVO. I used to be on the CB in the early 80s and my handle was DEVO. The logo is actually a self design and was done and influenced when Freedom of Choice was released. The face shape that makes up the DEVO name is, in my mind, Bob 1. The logo was also something I used when doing autographs when I was in my own band.
In fact I’m so much of a DEVO fan that I wanted something that no other fan had, so some time back I registered the URL WeAreDEVO.com This meant I could have the email AreWeNotMen@WeAreDEVO.com How’s that for being a fan 😆
I also have a very interesting version of DEVO’s first single ua-cam.com/video/xFAZV9Upq-w/v-deo.html
As for the music thing. Music is and will always be my first love but I stopped doing it “properly” a very long time ago. When I was younger I was very lucky to have worked with some great musicians and to have produced some great music. Although, most of what I produced didn’t get anywhere, as was, is, and always will be the nature of the music industry. The simple truth about the music industry, which is contrary to a lot of the BS that gets peddled. Is that, the cream doesn’t always rise to the top and making great music, being talented and looking the part, isn’t always enough. In my experience, once you have something good and all the parts are in place. Luck becomes the biggest factor. Or more precisely, being in the right place at the right time.
Anyone who says that you create your own luck. Is talking out of their ass, if talking about the music industry. I know far too many AMAZING and talented musicians and writers who fell by the wayside, to prove that point.
I was fortunate enough to have had some chart success in the UK with some stuff by my own band. However, one of the songs was quite a big hit and became the anthem for dance music and the summer it was released. Which created a huge albatross around my neck. It wasn’t too long after that when I started experiencing some of the negative sides of the music business. Which tainted my love for it, so I moved onto multimedia and video production in the mid 90s.
I still dabble with music in my spare time. But to do justice to anything musical, you have to be committed to it 24/7 with your heart and soul. Which is something I simply don’t have the time for as I’m trying to become a UA-cam SuperStar 😆😆😆😆😆😆
      Cheers,
      Dave.

You can if you want but it won’t matter to the phone itself as it will no longer be associated with your Samsung account and whoever has it next will have no problem setting it up as their own. Cheers, Dave.
