Do you need the receiver to be on "On" and "Auto"? Also if you want heating on for the morning and night only do you set programme 1&2 for start and finish time for the morning and 5&6 for the evening and 3&4 would be the the same as 5&6 so you dont have any heating on between the morning and night? Thanks
Hello Alan, I have a hot water cylinder which has a Codice 542794 thermostat installed which is controlled by Nest. Is there any device out there to check how hot the water is please? Thank you.
Hi Allen I have the Salus receiver and transmitter as shown. I tried everything you did - but they just won’t Pair. What is my next step? Buy both new boxes ?
Hey Allen. Thanks for The video. I have questions for you . I’m Looking for weekends gas engineer course , working full time is plumber, any suggestions of school you can recommend . I’m base in Bristol. Thanks Chris
Hi Chris. Thank you for the message, Unfortunately i cannot recommend anyone near you as i am not aware of any gas training centres. I only know of Viva Training. Good luck.
Hi, if you press the 'Hand' button on the thermostat, you'll see the same symbol appear on the screen. The thermostat will now operate in manual mode. Just turn it up and down as you require. Thanks
@@JosephSalus-ni7hw thank you yes id worked that out now .i just wish theyd make a temp control that just stays where you set it . this temperature regulated idea seems to mean your heating goes on and off and you are constantly tampering with it to try n get it right . i would like a heating system that just has an off button and 1 to 5 temp control like on a fridge . or like the little electric heater in my kitchen . you just set in on 1 or low to take the chill out of the air or up high to quickly heat the room , its totally controllable . unlike any central heating system ive ever had . thanks for your reply though
@@maximoperini Hi, when you say you 'switched on manual' do you mean on the thermostat (the hand symbol) or on the receiver, by sliding the switch over to 'Manual'?
