They are famous for their lambic beers. The grain's sugars are fermented by wild yeast only found naturally in Belgium. Going off of memory so I am not sure if it is lambic. But they do make a style of beer that is unique to their location.
Yeah belgian beer is famous atm,because i believe they weren't allowed to drink jenever( high alcohol percentage) so they started brewing more beers with a longer yeast process so the alcohol percentage became higher so u could get drunk easier.
It doesn't matter that Belgium has the most beer types in the world, non of them is sold in the markets in germany. But the markets sold beer of the czechs, the netherlands and beer from poland!
It's true! Belgian beer is simply BEST in the whole world! (and I'm not Belgian, so it isn't my national pride speaking :P) German and Czech is good, but I think Belgian has more refined and pleasant taste. Cheers ;)
