I used to watch my Dad play this when I was a kid. He used to put on Noclip and get them all to follow him then once he had them in the same room he'd switch off Noclip. They would all start battering the shit out of each other and we'd piss ourselves laughing, it was so funny. They don't make them like this anymore.
Man these Berserkers straight juggling poor grunts and enforcers. Also, despite overall Quake 2 RTX somewhat messed up with the original visual style and colors, dark underground sections with reflections on the walls look pretty awesome
I agree with you and I don't think there will be someone able to change your mind. Older games were made to be a fun and challenging experience. There are good games today that follow a similar path but many are being used for virtue signaling, you can't even have nudity without people losing their minds even though these games are marketed for adults. Also, older games did not have stupid microtransactions as the games were released complete, DLCs were optional and most peopem would only buy them is the base game was good.

As for nudity in games, I don't care enough to call it out. If people want that, it's nothing to me. Why others feel they have to meddle in other's business is beyond me.

@@NPCUniverse Yea you'll often come across groups of npcs battling it out throughout the map. Several good locations would be the dune sea, The wild, and the wetlands.

Hold on now, isn’t RTX Quake 2 basically just 2023 Quake 2? I say that because Quake 2 was remade, with I think the ability to turn off and on the OG graphics.
It's cool how they didn't mess with the textures all that much, my personal preference is I like that crunchy pixel art look without texture filtering, I wonder how that would look with all the post processing and normal maps lol

I tested Quake 4 before for spawning NPC battles and stuff but it was couple months ago. It works I can do that but probably I won't do it anytime soon. I have some games planned also a lot of other games requested.
i dont know why people bitch about rtx. if you set it right, it WILL be better with it. this game here is not set right though, its so bright that is defeats the purpose of playing quake, it lookses it original mood. set it up right and enjoy the fruits of being alive in 21. century

I did some light tweaks to the video at the editing. Other than that it is default RTX graphics.

You can turn off all texture filtering if you want.the original game was designed for texture filtering though.

There is no mod for it, just make them fire at each other/hit each other and they will start fighting.

I changed the lighting a bit at the editing, raw footage was not as bright as in the video.
RTX is fun, but at a certain point you don't recognize the differences anymore. Some details are updated, but not everything. Owning a 4080.
