mark normand shane gillis and ari shaffir do a monthly podcast on joe rogan where they get drunk and do mushrooms and then do kill tony afterwards , its a common occurance for at least one of them to not make it as far as kill tony 😂

Tony is a better roaster but David can be really funny. Tony wrote and appeared on the Comedy Central roasts. It became his thing and he created this show.
Kill Tony is a weekly show/podcast, so like any comedy podcast not all jokes will land, which I like, because you appreciate the good ones more.
The joke at 3:45 "White Men Can't Stop Eating" is a reference to "White Men Can't Jump" which is a movie about a black man (Wesley Snipes) and a white man (Woody Harrelson) who hustle basketball...it's not about two white men.

This is one of my favorite comedy show formats right now. Tony shoots out roasts for the whole show. The cool thing about the show is everyone is chill when jokes bomb. The crowd doesn't heckle, the comedians have an opportunity to get time, they see what works and Tony is helping so many new talents get exposure. And he roasts through the whole show and encourages the comedians to roast him back! Sometimes he misses but how he handles it is a great example for comedians. It's a clever concept.
This one's great but there's a couple of these that take it to a new level. Check out "David Lucas Roasts Post Malone" and "Kim Congdon Roasts David Lucas"
Hell yes! Post Malone on kill Tony was my favorite guest of all time. He was having the best time. His enjoyment made it so much fun. Post Malone perma smile throughout the podcast was epic.🤘🏻😝
You and the husband need to make kill tony a monday night routine😂 they start with the opening comedian Hans Kim, then pull a few random names from hats. The names could be anyone to literally steve-o all the way to someone who has never done stand up once. There are 3-4 regulars on the show, david lucas retired from kill tony but comes back whenever he wants. They all get a 1 minute time limit to tell a joke then they get interviewed, its a very brutally honest reaction from tony and the panel because this show literally makes the new wave of stand up.

David and Tony have probably the record for the most time on stage roasting each other. They have done it so much that I think the time total is into the hours at this point. David Lucas is really good at crowd work and on Kill Tony he really gets the panel. He got Post Malone pretty well and many others.

So a little context for everything here since it's a little out of context. Starting with Kill Tony, it's a show where anyone can sign up and their name gets thrown into a bucket, if they get called on they do 1 minute of stand up comedy in front of a live audience, tony, and whoever the guests are for that night (they have guests pretty much every night, usually comedians, sometimes musical artists etc.) and after their set they do a 5-10 minute interview. Tony does a lot of roasting and such. They also have a few regulars on the show that perform a new minute every week. David used to be one of those regulars, and he's a really good roaster so pretty much every interview after his set, tony and david roast each other (david goes after the guests a lot as well). As far as what happened with the guests this episode, those 3 have a podcast with joe rogan, kind of a side project of the joe rogan experience called protect our parks. They usually go for around 3 hours where they're drinking pretty much the whole time, that's why shane is so drunk. Joe actually came to the kill tony show that night as well, but not until later because he was way too drunk he wanted to sober up a little first. Edit: I forgot to say, David Lucas retired as a regular because he was getting popular enough to have a bunch of his own shows and had trouble juggling both that and appearing on the show writing a new minute every week. Kam Patterson that you mentioned you saw before is technically the replacement for David Lucas as the 3rd regular on the show.

Shane, Mark & Ari show up on this show every time they do the Joe Rogan podcast. This time I believe the mushrooms and they had been drinking too. Checkout the Joe Rogan podcasts marked as Save Our Parks you’ll see them just talking a lot outlandish shit…hysterical.

As a former resident of Timonium Maryland and a patron of Magoobys joke house... Shane is only half kidding. A lot of big(ish) NYC comics go to Goobys as a surprise when they're near Baltimore because a lot of them did open mics there when they were starting out.
He's not wrong though. Timonium as a town is a skeevy bus/truck stop on the way to Towson and Baltimore.

You should make an effort to fit a reaction into your schedule w/ the most recent Kill Tony regulars or great bucket pulls. No brainer for traction on UA-cam as they get stalked immediately after the show airs, and rightfully so. You’re also tapped in to so many different styles of comedy, it would work. Putting new comedians onto a wide fanbase is also not a bad thing!
David like most Kill Tony guys are primarily rude rather than funny to me.
David Lucas was the best on the show roast battles before his residency on Kill Tony. When he got famous/busy enough he couldn't be a regular is around the time Cam blew up and took his spot. Oh, and the missed jokes was a "White men can't jump" reference

A few points. 1) Tony is so far as his wife reports not gay. 2) That is Ari... 3) David Lucas comes from the roasting world and is far more seasoned than Kam Luise who style is different than David's. Want a twister check out the regular KT. closer... William Montgomery a powerhouse.
