“Part of the job of the producer is to put together a group of people that interact with synergy” - could not agree more!
She's really great to listen to. It's good to hear someone not self promoting
Greg Hughes that’s my aunt!
my whole life I always had this empty feeling inside, now I realize what i been searching for.
How is your journey going?

I saw it best summarized in another video. The director is responsible for the film creatively, and the producer is responsible for the film logistically and financially, a big part of their job is ensuring that the film turns a profit so oftentimes they will be in charge of all of the post-production marketing.
At times they contribute creatively as well. Love your username and photo
This is a good assessment
The lighting set up of this interview was great
Wow I love this type of video please upload more like this
I love this!!!!! Synergy--- I think I want to be a producer
Valuable advice ! Thanks for sharing !

One thing i wonder about when watching movies is how much are movies influenced by legal issues like censorship . It seems like you would need an attorney for all kinds of things, even to establish the correct rating for a movie. Who exactly decides what that is? And then what about financing a first attempt at a movie. A banker needs a lot of assurance that he will get his money out of your movie. A buisness plan would be essential for any kind of financing.
We need more female producers on UA-cam and get another perspective rather than just seeing men speak on this topic. It’s inspiring and refreshing to hear her take on it. Thank you 🙏
I saw Matt Workman!
Would love to work with that producer 🙌😎🎥
Great Video ❤
Thanks for the tips 👍
I like the background music

hello, can you tell me which Tom cruise film that is- regarding the very first couple seconds? (which btw is a great vehicle shot, some kind of crane from the camera ahead etc

Anyone knows the song at 2:30?
❤ is there any post like co producer, assistant producer or associate producer related with producer?
Wag the Dog is literally a movie about trying to answer this question
Hey it’s matt Workman
Please enjoy Intriguism Moving Pictures’ “Curse of the Swine-Beast” -- a comedy satire of Ed Wood, William Castle and Roger Corman films and review. Thanks.

Personal note for me

She used to be Tom Cruise's agent.
Hey plz any one help me plz plz plz plz plz plz plz
This was sort of accurate but a bit misleading. Sme producers only find money which is a huge job on its own. You don't have to know everything you can you can specialize.
Not many producers just find money, although that's what directors would like.
@@clarepearce7832 Actually there are lots but they don't advertise hahaha. Look up Avi Lerner. If you're in the right place people like him can fund your project in 24 hours or less. He's also very tall so easy to spot in a large room.....,
@@roosterandguppy2373 ha ha! yes those are called Exec Producers or Studio exec's and they do not get involved in the film just help finance it...alot different then what Paula's role she was describing which is a producer ( lead) . I know some of those studio exec's too and funny enough they are also very tall. :)
@@clarepearce7832 The point i was trying to make is that you don't have to know every aspect of production to be an effective EP or studio exec, you do have to trust the people you hire.
@@roosterandguppy2373 Exactly Exec producers or studio exec's do not need to know even detail /aspect of a production . but Paulas job that she is describing (the lead producer role) does have to understand every process of the production in detail so they can get the film made and know what to expect from the people they hire.
Producers the big ones beffing it Hollywood LA world wide the subtitles get you cursed publicity are kind likes good stuff us in Hollywood is to improve are side the ones came up if you know what we France Germany Amsterdam mean ha
I want my dream complete but they are really bad people plz out me tere
So you trying to say if the movie has a famous Producer that he or she did all the running around and boring work ( Eg : Leo, Will Smith etc ? ) . No ways !
Lose the damn, annoying, distracting, too loud, background music during narrtation !!!! WHY?
