- Ten people were killed in a mass shooting Saturday at a Tops supermarket in Buffalo, New York, officials said in a news conference. Authorities are calling the incident a racially motivated hate crime, and they say the 18-year-old suspect is in custody. Watch their remarks.

What the national media hasn’t mentioned is that this was a “revenge act”, in my state it's on the news. On the barrel of the gun was marked with a slur and the name of a “Virginia sorenson”, and “reparations”. But who is Virginia Sorenson? November 21st, 2021- a black man named Daryl Brooks drives his SUV and plowed through a parade of white ppl in Wisconsin and killing and injurying multiple, Virginia Sorenson was one of the victims. Daryl Brooks did what he did cause of the verdict of Kyle Rittenhouse who is from Wisconsin and he deemed it a "revenge act". Seems this was some crazy revenge act in retaliation to what Daryl Brooks did and the media doesn’t want to report that in fear that it will cause more “revenge acts”. This is all crazy, innocent people dying die to these racially motivated revenge acts.

I live in Buffalo NY, so this touches me very personally, especially knowing that this supermarket my 79 year old dad was going to that exact market. He missed the shooting by 20 minutes! So, I tell everyone who are reading these comments, NEVER think it couldn't happen to you, or the people you love. RIP to all the victims and their families.

As an European point of view (I'm an Italian living in Spain) i really believe US government should really restrict the sale of weapons. I was surprised, saddened, had not been to my closet neighborhood SAFEWAY in a while because the shopping carts are always missing, replaced stolen again and these are near $100,000. Homes/Rentals 1bdrm 1800 a month 2bdrm 2800 and so forth and things of that nature. I have to travel by public bus miles away for a 🧾🛒. Well....3 armed guards 2 stationed outside and 1 after checkout where they buy cigarettes , pay bills, 🚭. I notice most neighborhoods don't have such extreme measures I have seen broken store windows time to time. I have been shopping at that chain since before I was conceived vis my mother and father. 60 years damn near. I have never seen the city I chose to relocate to in such decay. BUT Great is the Lord and I have gratitude for never experiencing that situation. Although something serious has happened at SAFEWAY at that particular store and shopping plaza. The one they jam you up to sign petitions at and when you tell them o I retired from voting they get aggressive like a pan handler. I stopped because once when I listed my address SOMEBODY broke in my tiny home. Saw I didn't have nothing. Effin Nutz!

Living as close to buffalo as I do, and finding out that he specifically picked a NY target because of our strict gun laws is Scary. Incredibly awful that this could happen anywhere. It feels very telling that while planning this attack he noted that because of the gun laws in NY there would be less risk to him. I am sure he would have done what he did no matter what, but the fact that the laws that were supposedly meant to make us safer instead made us a target. Truly an evil mentality.
