    Wow, watching your light pressure on the trigger (7:40) tells me that I’ll need to start filling up the piggy bank. Great video!
    I’m guessing that Flavio has one of these BR 2.1 triggers for a Remington 40X? I own three in 22lr and the 3rd one is my experimental one. Your post has nudged me towards one of these triggers, that and the fact that the Vudoo folks offer the Flavio as their highest upgrade on their single shot model!
    Anyways, thanks again for your post! Take care!

    Thanks for the review John, hopefully they can ramp up production with the new design too. The triggers are not the easiest to get ahold of.

      Yeah when I talked to Fabio, he said some of the design changes were to specifically help improve assembly and lead times. I know Bruno's got a huge order and just barely filled their backorders so hopefully the next batch will leave more for the people waiting.

    @fclassjohn I am really interested in purchasing this trigger after watching your review of this for a 284Win. Build I have going? When I did a web search for this trigger? Your review video pops up & Bruno’s comes up? But they are sold out? Are there any other suppliers here in the U.S. for Flavio triggers ? Thanks again for your review I enjoy watching your videos!

    Is the Bruno's website glitchy, or do the Whisper triggers sell out in literally minutes? A couple times now, the website has showed them in stock, but by the time I go to hit the "Place Order" button, I get a message that there's something wrong with my order, and the triggers show out of stock.

      I honestly don't know. I would give them a call and ask. I do know they get a lot of requests for. I'm not sure if they have a backorder list but I would call and talk to them about it.

    John, is this 2.1 model the same adjustment range as the 2.0? The previous model was 0.7 to 2.8 oz.

    • @FClassJohn
      @FClassJohn  2 роки тому +1

      I haven't properly tested it but he told me the 2.1 goes just a hair higher and hair lower but essentially the same. I know he's working on a heavier pull version but not sure when that'll be available. I can tell you I had him set it at it's highest setting and anecdotally it felt just a little heavier than my 2.0 did which I like.

    Just installed a flavio and adjusted properly (I think) following the instruction. Is is normal for the blade to be loose and have wiggle to it after firing? Can send a video if needed to describe what I mean. Thanks in advance

    • @FClassJohn
      @FClassJohn  Рік тому

      Yeah, that’s pretty normal and most triggers but once it’s caulked, it should be solid.

    How does this compare to Bix & Andy’s BR trigger?

    • @samw2768

      They're basically the same. The b n a had issues with the balls inside it pitting and hanging up. They've since corrected that issue and are great triggers

    Try the SIDHE trigger , always made in Italy , a step ahead this trigger

    Are they that much better than a TriggerTech Diamond?

    • @FClassJohn
      @FClassJohn  2 роки тому

      Better is relative and I totally understand that. I'm also a big fan of the TriggerTech Diamonds and if it weren't for the Flavio I'd still be shooting them. The biggest thing you get from the Flavio is the ability to get below 6oz and it's just a slightly different set of mechanics but both are the incredibly solid as far as being dust and grub resistant.

      Unfortunately he doesn't, but they are only sold through Bruno's in Arizona here in the states. I'm not sure about Worldwide but if you're in another country let me know and I can get ahold of him and ask who to contact in that case. www.brunoshooters.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=triggers_flavio

    John .. I was able to get a couple of 2.1s through Brunos. They are my first Flavio so I can't compare to the 2.0s. I adjusted the sear engagement as per the instructions. However, mine had some creep before the break. I am used to my Bix N Andy competition trigger with a crisp break. Is the creep normal for Flavio Favre triggers? After about 50 rounds I was still unsure as to when it was going to break.

    • @FClassJohn
      @FClassJohn  2 роки тому +1

      I haven't felt the creep but I also haven't had a Bix in 3 years so I can't compare to that but I do run TriggerTech Diamonds and they're crazy crisp (I think even more than the Bix) and while the 2.0 was just a little less crisp than the TT for me, the 2.1 seems just about equal but keep in mind the Flavio allows for over travel adjustment while the TT and Bix don't and sometimes I've found that the if the over travel isn't adjusted the way someone likes it, it might mimic a problem similar to what you're describing. I have sent your question off to Fabio to see if he has any additional ideas that may help solve your issue.

    • @vbnetway
      @vbnetway 2 роки тому

      I have the exact same issue with creep. i haven’t played with over travel yet , but i do feel some creep relative to my Bix

    • @onebob10
      @onebob10 Рік тому

      My 2.1 had an unacceptable amount of trigger creep, no amount of adjustments would reduce it. I would estimate that I had almost an 1/8th of an inch of trigger travel before I felt any resistance, at which point the trigger broke at 2 oz. I sold that trigger and went back to a BNA.

    Adjustment seems alot like the old Savage 3 screw trigger.
