Sinead O connor sitting there with a box over her head. very Surreal and yet very funny but I can only take so much vic and bob. But I loved Shooting Stars.
I thought the opening bars of _Tony Blair's New Labour band_ was gonna go very Sleaford Mods... 🤣 I missed a whole bunch of *Bang Bang* eps back in the proverbial, nice to find 'em here now! (UA-cam can occasionally work wonders) \😸/ - You can also really see many of the seed ideas for their later show *Catterick* - It's really an evolution of *Vic Reeves' Big Night Out* - Which I didn't pick up on, back then (I remember it feeling quite different, but I can now clearly see the thru-line, from this distance)
That was good.👍🏻 17.52. Bobs monologue I swear it’s a Chinese accent. I loved these guys back in t’ day. The surrealist comedy, especially coz they’re from the north and I get there references, made me laugh today and I’ll definitely be watching more of these episodes. Cheers 👍🏻
And this was 2 years before Phoenix nights. Not only did that rip off 'The Club' sketch but a lot of the cast from Phoenix Nights accused Peter Kay of not giving the cast writing credits, as a lot of it was ad libbed. It makes sense as Max and Paddy was nowhere near as funny as Phoenix Nights.
Just a heads up. I got a permanent ban for posting Reeves & Mortimer videos, so you might want to consider that. Even though other people has posted the same ones years earlier.
what i love about British telly is that it all looks like a spoof from a major show in America, both countries pretending its also a first world country.
Ive seen an episode with Reeves and Mortimer where, as far as I understood, they live as a family and have an idiot daughter who has an idiot boyfriend, but i cant track it anywhere and have no idea what its called. Does this ring a bell with anyone here? thnx and thanks for uploading this.

they were like their own mini comedy-movement, along with Harry Hill and Ross Noble. 😸_👍
This is the best show in the history of anything.
David Mitchell has a catalogued tray of random things he's found in his pockets, that he suspects Bob put there.
Pioneering surrealist comedy ♥️
How the hell did they refrain from laughing in the club bit??! When Mortimer is the Chinese bloke, oh dear 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Kinky John Fowler should have been given his own series.
