Hello April. This was another helpful video. Today is wash day for me. Going to try a denman brush. Last wash day I tried finger coiling my all my hair. This took 1 hour and 45 minutes and my hair is short. 🤦🏽♀️ Oh well. I tried. 🤣 The results were very good but, I don’t have that kinda time. Love the pink sweater. Take care.
Hi Natalie, thank you. I’m glad this was helpful. Yes, I hope the denman brush will work for you. It does work well on making curl clumps with tighter curls. The sweater is from Gap, but it sold out so quick that I wasn’t able to buy it in the other colors 😩 I really love it. Wishing you a great wash day!! ♥️
What a great video idea! Maybe you could do something like this with curlsmith because there are so many to choose from. I gave my son the jelly soufflé l. Your refresh days are still a dream! I’m curious to know what are your favorite go to products. Can you do high end and drugstore?

Loved the results with the curl cream. I didn't try that one yet. I love the serum and use it mostly as a refresh tool, no matter what i had on my hair on wash day. It is really great for that!! Let me know if you get a chance to try that! 😘

I had similar results, although I cannot stand the scent of the curl cream. I have to use one from a different brand underneath, I like Miribel Naturals.
Oh interesting! Fragrances can make or break a product for me too. I haven’t minded these yet though. I’d love to try the Miribel Naturals one too. I have heard good reviews about the product line. Thank you!
I tried these products, and they caused a lot of frizz for me, too. I noticed that I was using a very aloe- heavy line-up and thought it might be too much aloe for me. Have you had a similar reaction to aloe? I don't know for sure that's what caused it because there are so many factors to consider.
I don’t know if it’s the aloe either. I have used other aloe based products that my hair loves and don’t cause frizz. So it could just be the formula altogether. I’m thinking of trying the curl cream under other gels I have too. 🤞

Ironically I get better results with the serum and gel from TreLuxe, vs the curl cream with their gel. I think my hair is more fine so gets over moisturized easily. The serum and gel is the right balance for my waves and curls. I actually don't need to do more than a light root fluff for day 2 refresh.

Great question! It’s recommended to use the gel sparingly. To refresh/touch-up curls, use the Reflex serum.
