Thank you @Sophie Hale for these scenes! Saw this movie the other day and these two have such amazing chemistry together. I first saw the actor in the movie "Profile" - I think I would have been a goner in that type of situation lol bc I've never been that magnetically attracted to anyone onscreen, which just proves to me that he's a really good actor. Lily James for some reason often portrays women with very modern personalities, which I don't identify with, but such a great actress as well. The premise of this story is so sweet; I would have given anything to have fallen in love with my childhood best friend. As I grew up I always thought that would be the only way I would feel comfortable going into a romantic relationship but nowadays people seem to want to move so quickly and we seem to live in such an "instant gratification" superficial society that TRUE boy-girl friendship to love relationships seem to be something very rare we come across once in a lifetime - a type of love I won't get in this lifetime, which is what makes their story and these scenes that much sweeter for me ❤
