Ive been watching you for awhile now and am so happy that you documented your experience. I just went in for my HSG and have been told I have a blocked tube. My doctor briefly did mention IUI maybe be the best route to take. I have my follow up next week to discuss further. I must say I am super nervous about taking letrazole from all the symptoms people have reported after starting it. Anywho, thank you for documenting your experience and CONGRATS on baby boy-I was in tears when you announced.

Got pregnant on my first cycle with letrozole. But i did a supplement of many vitamins for 6 months before i tried, like oil fish, coenzyma q10, victamin C, Royal jelly, the pre-pregnancy vitamins and of also a healthy food since january of this year! Cut off pizza, burguer and all White bread and rice, sugar... so prepared my budy and try to improve egg quality.
I’ve also been on a long TTC journey - in my experience about half of folks who try Letrozole experience some major side effects, while the other half don’t. For some, Clomid worked better slash was easier to handle (ex less harsh side effects). We tried Clomid two months ago and it was ROUGH. I had horrible headaches, night sweats, and major depressive thoughts. It didn’t work for us. Our Dr switched us to Letrozole the very next cycle and the difference was like night and day - no major side effects! We monitored my follicle sizes and did timed intercourse. Happy to report it worked! We’re going in for our first pregnancy ultrasound tomorrow. ❤ My point is, if this Rx is too much for you, maybe it’s not the right fit - don’t be afraid to switch it up next cycle. My biggest hope, though, is that it DOES work for you - so that you can finally start building your family (and also that we can have similar pregnancy timelines). My fingers are crossed for you! ❤
You can also remount your original diamond on a yellow band if you wanted! I recall you like a different shape instead of the Princess cut but just an FYI 😊

Had my first IUI on Aug 16, and I was so excited and anxious to take a pregnancy test today....and it was NEG :( UGH. My company offers no infertility benefits, so everything is out of pocket for this. Now I'm just waiting for my period to come.....
My first IUI got cancelled on my CD 3 as I have cysts which affects my estrogen level 😢 It was a big disappointment. Hopefully we start next month! Finger crossed it works first try for you!!
I had headaches and hot flashes on my first round of letrozole. Also, I had cramps in my ovaries that ramped up until I ovulated. It was so bad on ovulation day that I could barely walk and then a few hours later it was gone. The second round I didn’t have much in the way of noticeable side effects and the cramping came but was less severe. Currently on my second day of the third round and haven’t noticed anything.
I have been on letrozole for four months and the first month I also experienced super bad headaches , if you have high estrogen it also contributes to the headaches and can be considered “cyclical headaches” But after that your body adjusts and you shouldn’t feel it as bad next month. I also felt twinges but very minimal. I’m approaching 1 year of treatments with my fertility clinic but have been trying for over 2 years. May God bless us who have been struggling with infertility 🫶🏽
