Brings back memories of our 2 visits to Egypt. We went from Port Said and had lunch in a palace in Cairo. Thanks for this we only have stills from our visits.
Brilliant vlog. An early rise for you guys. I really expected to see the two of you up dancing when the belly dancer edged towards you. The look on your face 🤣
Enjoyed watching your video of Egypt. My daughter's fiance is from Egypt and we hope to be able to visit one day. This look like a long tiring day for you guys but most enjoyable.
It's from Apricot. It was in the sale probably because it was very long. I just got the hem taken up a bit. It's so easy to in and out of as I find some jumpsuits a bit of a nightmare.
I’ve done the same drive from the port to Cairo. Did you have a security detail at front and back of the coaches as these attitude change over a cave on the 2 1/2 hour trip to the Town this is over 30 years ago now so it may have changed.
Beautiful vlog Andy amazing pictures I thought you would have tried some belly dancing 💃🏻 😂😂😂 can't wait for next week who's your winner in strictly 🙋♀️👋😄😄😄👍💃🏻🕺hope you both have a lovely weekend 🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅
Another great video, thanks for sharing. Were you allowed right up to the pyramids or did you have to stay at a distance? Loved the quick bit of drone video. What’s that from your drone? Any problems flying around close to the pyramids? PS. Good that you looked a little healthier in this video, I guess you were getting over your shingles by this point?
Yeah, we were able to get right up to the bottom of the pyramids. You just can't climb on them. Definitely no drone flying, resorted to stock footage for that one shot. Shingles rash was definitely clearing up at that point, but unfortunately, I didn't realise at the time that I had developed acute anterior uveitis in my right eye. My sight was getting worse. Still on steroid drops, but pretty much 100% now, thanks!
Often wondered if schlepping from Alexandria to Cairo on a bus would be worth it. It appears that it is. They let you fly a drone by the pyramids? Great vlog!
Looked a great day even though it was long, on bucket list. Great video, why was they taking photos with Kirsty? Did they think she was famous because you was filming her ?😂😂 Oh that belly dancer was top draw, no wonder you pulled a face.
probably the red hair .... as thid has more than just cosmetic significance: in ancient Egypt people with red hair were associated with the deity Set, the slayer of Osiris, and the name of Ramesses II's father, Seti I, means "follower of Seth".
My grandfather was in the army in Alexandria in 1930 and we have photographs of him and his army pals right at the top of the pyramids they were allowed to climb them back then before they became such a tourist attraction health and safety alone would not allow that today. The sphinx was just being dug out then as well and his photos of that have scaffolding all around it.
Oh my! That lunch show...
oh la la.😊
Looked a fabulous day!
It was certainly interesting. Very pleased we saw the pyramids!
great video the pyramids and sphinx are amazing 😻
Yes, it was a great day. It was just a very fast pace around the pyramids. Could have done with longer to really take it all in.

Wow xx what a day both , so envious from Alexandra to the Pyramids and the sphinx , amazing , great vlog 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Such a great vlog from you both..I'd love to see the Pyramids one day
It's definitely one of those 'must see' destinations.
Ps : Kirsty , your green/white jumpsuit is beautiful , can you say where you bought it ?

That looked amazing. Was suppose to sail there many years ago but it was cancelled due to "uprising" of some sort
Sorry to hear that. It's definitely one of those bucket list destinations.
That was my reaction to the belly dancer as well 😂
😆

Yes, we did have security. We had a guy on the coach with us all day, who also tagged on when we were walking about and also a police escort.
Nice job on your editing
Thanks!

Thanks, it was a great day! No belly dancing this time, maybe next! Not sure about Strictly, looking forward to watching the final though.
That was one hectic day
It was a good 13hrs long. Plus I wasn't feeling 100%, so was absolutely wiped out by the evening. It was great though!
Amazing excursion! Just curious what was the temp most of the day?
It was about 24°c, so not too bad.

Thanks! The journey sounds long, but actually didn't seem that bad at the time. No drone flying. Stock footage.
Come on Andy you know you enjoyed the belly dance.
It was OK. 😉
I dread to think what happened to,your sausagy thing when that belly dancer approached the table! 😂
😂

No idea why they wanted the selfies. Yes, entertainment was good!
