Yea, sorry, seeing gigantic aliens (the first ever aliens, I imagine) on Venus, and going ''we speak not a word of this to Earth'' is somehow more unbelievable than the fact that I'm listening to an audio log from the future. I can't suspend my disbelief long enough to listen till the end.
Cool story overall but a little confused about the part where she's like Oh you know that like giant black sphere that descended to Venus while I saw a very similar sphere while approaching the planet but didn't want to tell my crew mates because They might think I'm crazy Like why the fuck would they think you're crazy Isn't a giant mysterious black sphere kind of the reason you're here in the first place So wouldnt a slightly smaller but still very large black orb be of concern to your crew?
I think it was a cool plot, excellent work! I just seems the author of the plot is overcompensating for a less than impressive country. Overall though, still a great listen!
I don't know that the author is overcompensating for anything lol It seems like maybe the author doesn't necessarily understand the motivations of corporations or the privatization of spaceflight. Maybe you could give me some examples of where you noticed the author over compensating for a country? An example of misunderstanding the privatization of space might be where he/she says that private corporations have taken it upon themselves to do research into the monetization of various space activities. My pushback to that is that corporations are not going to do any sort of research for the benefit of mankind with the hopes that it may lead to some sort of feasible profit. The only research any corporation is likely to do will be research funded by government grants. And even then they will be doing this research with the assumption that they will be able to turn that into money. That's exactly what we see right now in the United States which as far as I'm aware is the only country that is trying to privatize space flight and exploration. Unfortunately I think the most likely outcome of this will be a greater burden on the taxpayer and a lesser return on the taxpayers dollar. You know we were sold the same bill of goods for the privatization of the prison system in America. Somehow everyone's forgot about that but I mean these same conservatives extolled the virtues of the privatization of our prison system how that was going to save us so much money and lead to a greater state of care and rehabilitation for the inmate. And be exact opposite has happened. That's just the first one that came to my mind. These same conservatives are also trying to do that right now with the school system and the post office. So with any luck in the next 10 years our kids will go to shit schools and we won't have guaranteed mail and we will have even less social services and we will pay most likely more in Taxes while be wealthy pay significantly less. That's not even a conspiracy theory that's trickle down economics. Yeah about half of us are absolute dumbasses and continue to vote for it lol. Moral of that story the privatization of spaceflight is bullshit and unlikely to lead to any significant advancement beyond space hotels that are only accessible to the most wealthy and far less scientific discovery that benefits all of humanity. Gee thanks conservatism.
Very good story, and your narration was outstanding! The background music was at a perfect level of volume so that your narrative could be clearly heard, thank you!
The person writing this felt it necessary to state they were alive while doing it. Thank goodness it's not another post mortem author, they just wanna get inside your head. 😏
That’s why l love science fiction as it is all imaginary. To believe any of this nonsense, you’d have to pretend that any of the moon landings were real?!! Too funny.
Do you really think niel Armstrong was the first human on the moon with all the more advanced civilizations that have come before us, w we are used and biological,
"There's something deadly in Venus"
No shit, the whole planet is deadly.
What’s up with it?

Several are out there on various channels, many, if not most, are vintage sci-fi. I like Chip Slaters channel for the vintage ones.
