We drove up to Gatlinburg the Saturday before Thanksgiving and there were crowds and crowds of people there. Some people had on mask and some didn’t. We did a U turn and headed back to Georgia. We didn’t even get out of truck 👀🙅🏽♀️. They were walking up and down the strip like Coronavirus was a thing of the past 😑😬. We love it there and we go there often but crowds is a NO GO for us. I was there monday night into tuesday. We watched it snow from our motel room in Pigeon Forge from about 4p.m. monday all through the night....and was still snowing when we left at 10:30 a.m. tuesday morning. The river rd. from Sugarlands to Townsend was still closed when we left....so we went out through Wears Valley. They had about 2 inches out that way. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! I love to see these snow videos.......makes me feel like a kid again!! Just wish we still had a sled!! 😉😁

Love that whole area, especially in the snow. Lived close by many years ago, we loved to get up real early on the weekend and drive up to the Pidgeon Forge and Gatlinburg area and hope to see the bears running across the road, that was always such a treat to us to see animals in the wild. We almost always saw some some too.

Got to love the mountains covered with snow,,we went to Ole Red's a couple times, once in 2019 and the food was really good, then this past June we went back, they had a limited menu due to the virus, and everything was not so good, not sure we will go back, there are better places to eat IMO, Enjoyed the video , thanks for sharing

Must be nice to have snow. Im in southeast Wisconsin and we rarely get snow anymore the last 20 yrs. Seems like most of the southern states get more snow than us now. Oklahoma City has gotten more snow than us so far this year. Our spring and fall temperatures are about the same as Aiken SC. Crazy times. Ill be taking a trip in northwest Arkansas in the Ozarks in 1 month. Its so beautiful there. I hope there will be snow! Good video, thank you both. New subscriber.

Yeah it snowed about 3-5 inches in East Tennessee today in the valley and about 6-8 in the mountains

Visited TN last week, enjoyed the Smoky Mountain trails and the street attractions were a site! Went to Ripley's Believe it or Not with the family and enjoyed a few more attractions in Pigeon Forge...and if anyone thinking about visiting this state you've gotta check out the Titanic museum and Beyond the Lens its🤯🤯🤯! I identified this neighborhood as being similar to an amusement park in L.A., Ca but expanded and no entry fee...just streets of food diners and attractions! And pay your respects to Wood Grill Buffet...you wouldn't wanna leave....probably cause you passed out from over eating 🤣🤣🤣

Just came from Europe and we're staying in Gatlinburg. We just walked around town last night and it was amazing. Today we drove up the smoky mountains and it was just beautiful. Already in love with this place. Can you guys suggest me what to do the following days ? Probably tomorrow will go try Anakeesta
Welcome to the Great Smokey Mountains. We recommend the Roaring Fork Motor Trail. It’s free and you can stay in your car or get out at some of the designated things to see. Cades Cove is great, but want to go early as it gets crowded.
Is there a lot of snow in there late Feb? Planning a vacation Feb 21-25 for the first time. I’m wondering how everything is with the virus
You never know how things will be with snow especially up on top of the mountain. Down in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge it should be fine even with snow. Masks are mandatory inside and recommended just walking around. We hope you have a wonderful visit to the Great Smoky Mtns.

Unfortunately the snow has melted in the Gatlinburg area at this time. This location is near the Sugarlands Visitor Center.
