Actually you can animate geometry, just use Shape Keys, it can be useful for some things. Just add a base shape key and then add another, in edit mode do the modifications you want, now you can animate between the 2 shape keys. (btw it's in the "object data properties" tab). Obviously for that type of animations, using a lattice is way easier but try the shape keys thing and maybe you'll find some use for it. Thanks a lot for your videos, I learned much more things with you in 2 months, than in 2 years practicing Blender.
Well THAT is refreshing! Right away, starting around 00:30, the important info flows! Embarrassed to admit wasting two days realizing this. I don't recall anyone else covering this basic point!
Whats the difference between connecting them with a hook modifier and just parenting the vertex group to the empty? I guess the hook modifier is a little more versatile? Thanks -
Never thought of that.. but i also disagree with 1:40 that you cant animate shape using proportional editing because blender provide shape key animation as well with more control than lattice.
Yes shape keys can help animate geometry but: I think this gives more control over using shape keys as there are lesser numbers of vertices than those in model's geometry.

Why is he having beef with slinkys all of a sudden
2:27. I think there is a quick shortcut for it . Select the vertices that you want to parent the hook with. Press ctrl+H in edit mood and viola!

That's some willpower you have, posting a video every day!
I refuse to live without significance. My content can only improve the lives of those who absorb it fully, and I plan to take that to the extreme.
keep it up bro
huge game changer
Babarin is a game changer
holy shit i didn't know about this method, great video bro!

You're a little scary but I can't stop watching you.
Reinventing bones at the 2nd half of the video. )
Amazing Video as always

Awesome
50 shades of love for you my dear Brother ❤🧡💛💚💙💜♥🤎🖤🤍
Make a dedicated lighting tutorial. That'll help a lot of us I think

Your channel has great tutorials, can you make one on sculpting a human body? Thanks!

Neat

trust me bro, bro.
Is it able to import to fbx?
if your model have great reto so you can use this option otherwise your model havent good reto so you cant use this
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
And you know what ? I can use shape keys for latence ! isn't it more efficient !
huhu ^^ discord link ??

bruh, use shape keys... have u ever heard of shape keys?
