OUR FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF CROATIA

- We have made it to our 13th country of the year, which is Croatia. We are starting off in Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia. Zagreb is one of the smallest capital cities in all of Europe, making it easy for exploring. We start off our exploration in the city's main square; Ban Jelačić Square. From here, we get an idea of Zagreb's architecture and some history. Close by the square is Dolac Market, which is the largest open-air market in the city. We explore this large market filled with various fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and all sorts of souvenirs. After finishing up at the market, we walk over to Zagreb cathedral. Unfortunately, the cathedral is not open due to construction, but we are still able to admire it from the outside. For our last stop of the video, we head over to Mirogoj Cemetery, where there are many famous poets, politicians, and prominent Croatian figures.

Hi guys, I just have seen you Zagreb video. I never been there but now I deceived to explore it because of your video.
Again my favorite part is the drone part with the red sun umbrellas at the market :))) 🙌
We love the drone shots as well!
We’re happy to have inspired you to travel Zagreb 😊🤩
Zagreb isnt the smallest. Athen just smaller ;)
Welcome to Croatia A & Z!! What a beautiful country, enjoy your stay!!!
Croatia is definitely incredible and we’re so so happy to be here! We’re loving it 🥰
Split bazar end pakitani shop
You looking my vlog stix bree 1 my shop in split
if you see bees or wasps around the fruit, it means that it is ripe and sweet and that there are no pesticides
architecture is similar to that in Munich, Vienna, Prague, Krakow, Zagreb and Budapest
all these cities look very similar because they were designed by the same people, they were all big cities of the Austro-Hungarian Empire (the three kingdoms of Austria, Hungary and Croatia)
Wow! Thank you for all of this information and clearing all of that up for us 😊
There was a big earthquake in Zagreb and catedral is damaged as are many other churches and buildings to 😔
That’s very sad 😢 We didn’t know about this earthquake. Hopefully everything gets repaired and there will be no more issues in the near future.
@@AttilaAndZae Churches will be renovated, because they are renovated by the Church... Buildings and public institutions are renovated by our government, this will be done for years and years, because of corruption in our government, so...
😔
You’re both refreshing to watch!
Thank you for the sweet compliment, JC 😊🙏🏽
Cathedral is under renovation because of 2021 earthquake damage. 6.5 richter scale, 7 km north from city center.
We actually didn’t know that there was an earthquake.😲 That’s probably why the Mirogoj Cemetery is damaged too.
@@AttilaAndZae yes, huge damage for city, most the older buildings
Welcome back with another amazing awesome video 😍😊👍
Thank you so much Lamar! We hope all is well with you 😊
Great video guys, thanks for sharing...
Thank you for watching and your continued support Martin 😂
My parents are from Croatia & my dad went to school in Zagreb. What a lovely vlog! Am glad you enjoyed Zagreb. There was an earthquake on Easter Sunday 2020 of a 5.5 magnitude where one of the Cathedral's spires broke off. It was shocking. They're working to ensure the Cathedral is safe and secure for visitors.
Thank you so much! So sad to hear about the earthquake 😪
After u left Philippines the number of views declined. It could have more views when you're in the Philippines.. it's just choice of Thumbnail and caption should be better. Just my opinion
Thanks for the constructive criticism, we’re always trying to get better at taking thumbnails while also keeping it consistent. It is tough 😅
It’s definitely possible. We just stared our whole UA-cam journey this year, so we’re no professionals 😆. We’re definitely trying!
EVERYONES views drop when they leave the Philippines. A & Z you’re doing a FANTASTIC job! Most new vloggers aren’t as good as you two. You should be very proud. Also- thumbnails are great!!! We always forget to take them when we’re out

In April 2020, Zagreb was hit by a strong earthquake, all the buildings that are fenced are actually very damaged and there is a danger of collapse, such as the cathedral, the arcades on Mirogoj and many others. I wish you a pleasant stay in Croatia, enjoy it.
That’s really sad to hear. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again and they are able to fix everything. Thank you for the well wishes 😊
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video n for your first impressions of Croatia.
Thank you for watching and supporting 😊

Is it just me or do you guys really try to visit cemeteries when you visit another country? I saw the one in the Philippines when one of you weren’t able to come inside because of the dress code?
We’ve only gone to two cemeteries ever, the two you mentioned. We look up what’s interesting and sometimes a cemetery comes up for a unique reason, like the one in the Philippines for the soldiers and this one is also an art gallery and park.
Zae!!! Love the new haircut!!!
Thank you so much, you are literally the only person who noticed, on the internet and in person 😂. I REALLY appreciate it, thank you ❤️
Smallest capitol it has 17 neighboorhouds an population of almost 1 milion that aint small.
We said it’s “one of” the smallest. If you put every capital city on a list, Zagreb will be in the top with the least population. That’s what we meant.
@@AttilaAndZae There is at least 21 other European capitals with less population than Zagreb lol
Zagreb one of the smallest capitals in Europe? There is at least 20 European capitals that are smaller then Zagreb lol
It’s one of the smallest capital cities in Europe my man 😂
