  • Welcome to Bidaller Farms! I'm Aaron Bidochka (bid-aw-ch-ka), a semi-retired "career UA-camr" of 16 years - from RCSparks Studio, now embracing life as a "Comfort Farmer". In this video, we're excited to share the incredible transformation of our 200-year-old home, a journey we embarked on during the height of COVID in 2021. Purchasing this property sight unseen on the internet was a bold move, but the results speak for themselves.
When we bought this house, it was overpriced and literally falling apart. For a jaw-dropping comparison, check out our original video here: • Buying a 200 year old ...
Over the last three years, we've poured our hearts into restoring and advancing Bidaller Farms. Today, we're proud to introduce the newest members of our farm family: four adorable goats! Meet Frankie and Joey, our charming Cashmere and LaMancha duo, along with Merlin and Arthur, our lovable Nigerian Dwarfs. These goats joined us as two bonded pairs in need of a new home, and we couldn't resist welcoming them into our hearts and farm. Naturally, this meant getting serious about fencing and making updates to accommodate our growing family.
In this video, you'll get an inside look at daily life on Bidaller Farms, where we feed 16 mouths every day. I'll also share a bit about "Comfort Compass," our unique comfort center designed for friends and guests to unwind and find peace. Our goats serve as therapy animals, and we've thoughtfully designed areas to maximize pleasure and connection with nature, people, or whatever your heart desires. You'll see the stunning geodesic dome we built, explore the serene landscapes, and discover the various relaxation areas that make our property a haven of tranquility.
My partner, Jem, has always dreamt of creating a space reminiscent of Kellerman’s from the classic film "Dirty Dancing," where friends can gather, relax, and have fun. We're making that dream a reality here in the beautiful countryside of Nova Scotia.
Could you see yourself living like this in retirement? It's a lot of hard work, but the joy and fulfillment we get from our farm and comfort center make it all worthwhile.
Join us on this journey and see what it's like to embrace the Nova Scotia lifestyle, connect with nature, and create a space of comfort and healing. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share your thoughts in the comments below. Would YOU live like this, or is city life more appealing?

I've followed you for a while on your other channel, glad to see that you've embraced this lifestyle. Congrats as well, I've never liked city life, once you've had a taste of the woods & the country, you can never go back. City folks don't know what they're missing.

It's sort of like winning the lottery, and then dying the very next day.. without work, day to day effort, nothing gets done. But the end of the day ( payoff ) is totally worth it. You spend the day, maintaining the property, livestock, farm, garden, homestead.. everything..
then at the end of the day, you sit back and enjoy.. everything you did. That is the difference - you actually enjoy what you do and reflect on it all, at the end of the day.
Gladly, being happy and resting, sleeping - to happily, wake up tomorrow and do it all again.
Others.. do this same type of routine, but for everyone else.. versus themselves. It would be easier, make more sense.. to do this for yourself.
? living this lifestyle, is how life was meant to be.. not being in debt for things like the jones have next door.
You can't eat a smart phone or a chevy, but planting and growing crops, trees, plants, fruits, vegatables, etc...
this is true living... I wish everyone knew how to live like this, versus a concrete city, destroyed lands and pollution, it is sad, very few - know how to live like this.
