-any kind of meddling with other people's energies is very juvenile, it's coming out of a certain immaturity and a certain egoistic state of wanting to play God, which is not necessary.

Reiki healers are just channelling reiki energy with a positive attitude to help. There is nothing like interfering in another's karma.
With all due respect to Sadhguru I want to share some of my Knowledge about reiki to those who are listening to this video.
1. About not taking other people's karma
I seriously think the questionner is either not a reiki practitioner or is not taught the complete methods because my guru taught me that after reiki session you just have to ask the reiki energy to cut and use your hand as a knife to cut the string attached to your chakras. I have been doing this from 3 years and never faced any such problem.
2. About playing with other people's energy
The first thing I was taught at the very beginning is that Reiki is energy of god and practitioner is just like tap, the energy is not yours and reiki energy has its own decisions. It will flow only if what you are trying to do is right. The concept is very simple, reiki is the energy of god, universe and angels and they know when to bless and when not to bless. No human even if want can gather enough power to order god into doing something.
Besides I think humans are not attached enough to their higher self due to the lifestyle we live and attaching oneself to higher self as is done by the reiki (and same being the motive of meditation too) will solve many problems.
And please do provide respect to the man who was gifted this power and the blessings this pure energy has been putting into many people's life.
It changed me forever, gave me a new birth and was the best decision of my life.
And last but the most important point not even a single person has power to work against wishes of god let aside making wrong use of energy given at the 'mercy' of god.
Reiki is not black magic it would never harm anyone because as its name suggest it is the 'energy of god'. 🙏
I once saw a reiki master begin to cough and hack uncontrollably while administering reiki to man. It at least appeared that his negative energies went into her, the reiki master. I don't think it's black magic, but a form of magic/witchcraft nonetheless. I wonder if we should be messing with people chakras, energies, etc. It is certainly real and supernatural, but do we really know what we're doing? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on this.

sadhguru is not against reiki on fundamental level but against widespread use of reiki ..originally reiki is just limited to buddhist culture because they have renounced everything for liberation and given up on worldy pleasures so for them little bit of healing is need so they use reiki for that purpose only with certain understanding ..
but now what is happening people are making market out of reiki healing and selling it all kind of people who are not fit for this..
cuz they are not monks they are totaly into worldly pleasures and due to poor life style they made their body into a mess and got all kind of aliments because of their improper lifestyle so when their time comes to regret their bad karmic concequences and make them understand to become more aware of their actions ..but now u give them reiki healing of few bucks and without any effort they got treated for time being which will lead to inbalance of laws of nature because if u live badly u will face bad karma but now u do reiki they will postpone their karma and keep doing same stuff without transforming their life and in next life they will have to face their karma
If you take everything someone says (like a guru) as fact you will most likely suffer when that person says something disagreeable or incorrect. No one is better or more “connected” than you.

Energy healing is actually a siddhi that can be attained through yogic practice. The problem with most energy healing systems today is the teachings are not very well explained to those initiated. To effectively work with energy to heal others one must get out of the way, be in the role of the absolute servant, surrender and allow that universal energy flow through you and do the work. Dont direct it, the prana knows where it needs to go. When you start directing it that is when you can run in to problems without having attained a level of awareness where you can clearly discern what the problem is and what is needed exactly. Qi gong is a Taoist form of yoga and it does involve energy healing but it takes a lot of years mastering your own energy before you can heal others effectively

What is talking about Saddhguru is that you can't just go and heal by moving prana, because the prana of the person is meant to be in a certain way and form, according to their karma, that's all. When you meddle with people's prana, you don't "cure" the illness, but you move the prana into a "healthy" state, but that doesn't mean that the person's karma is erased, which means that in the end moving the prana or using any universal energy to manipulate or interfere with it will lead to temporary well-being because the karma it's still there.
That makes a lot of sense and I do feel like this has happened where yeah, sure it was nice to get some energy healing or reiki but I knew that there were underlying root concerns that couldn’t be addressed by a simple session. If someone isn’t doing their own spiritual process or inner healing work then energy healing can become a crutch or false “cure” to their problems. For example, going to the chiropractor repeatedly but not doing anything to actually get healthier, but liking the relief and ease that comes after an appointment w the doc. It’ll keep you hooked that’s for sure!!
What do you understand by Prana, Karma etc? How are you so sure that you are moving this prana thing and karma is stable all those? Please don't get miscarried away by some guru's lectures and keep passing on such highly spiritual and sentimental subjects. To get perfection a very long time,
dedication and hard work needed. Otherwise some Guru's blabbering will be believed blindly.
I feel that, when a person has suffered enough and paid karma, now the problems cannot disappear into the air or the traumatized heart and mind cannot start feeling joyous the moment they have paid off their karma. Its only at this time that they come across a healer who can help them get on track and probably onto the road of self realisation.
With this thought I will continue to help people in my life and with Reiki as and when required.
I believe in reiki!! It's the positive energy which gives me hope and healing! Mentally, emotionally and physically!! I am practicing it with compassion, just witnessing the healing process!! It's totally spiritual positive feeling !! Practitioners are not playing God, it's a prayer to God/energy to help whoever needed his blessing! We just keep faith whatever happens, happens for his/her/it's utmost good! Practitioners don't even expect anything!!
Hi Poly :) Sorry, but in a way, I have to disagree. When one comes to me with a serious breathing problem I use all I've learned to mentally and energetically clean the lungs/sinuses out. Based on experience I can & do expect the directed embedded energy to heal the person's lungs. It's a very mechanical manipulation of energy based on healing knowledge. Although I still ask, I already know exactly what to do. Is that playing God? No more than the surgeon at your local hospital. Energy healing is an exciting and expanding field of study. I say be proud of what "YOU" can do.

Reiki is offered, the person can choose to receive it or not. There is no manipulation of a person’s energy

His comment is more about the person asking vs reiki itself. Do it with compassion, with love and care and good intention. Why would you even be worried about taking on ones karma? Clearly she is not an experienced Reiki Practitioner yet.

@Lt. Surok Sadhguru is wise but not unbiased. Everything he says is from a bias towards Shiva. He has his perspectives as I have mine. That is why we were created separately... He is aware no doubt, but not enlightened. His energy is refined, but not perfect. So maybe find your own perfect instead of blindly following someone else's light. Sadhguru is a great teacher, no doubt, but follow your own heart, don't worship his.

99.9% of healers r ordinary people. They can do only ordinary healing. Only spirituality developed people like monks etc r capable of true healing. They too at times refuse to heal certain type of people.

The video is clear, he didn't say not to do reiki. But first understand your inner self and the creation in you. Unless you dont understand about yourself dont do healing thats what I understood from this video. Reiki is one form of energy transfer from one to other. One acting as medium to transfer energy.

...thats not how reiki works. Reiki has its own function/mind, always customized to individual patient's needs. The intention is always in the patient's highest good/interest.
Reiki does not work. It's quackery.
I do not think most reiki practioners do it out of ego but of a genuine want to help others with their suffering. Reiki practioners let the energy flow to where ever it wants to and do not interfere with the flow (well that is what I was taught during my traditional usui reiki training). They lay their hands on and allow the energy to go to where ever it's really needed.
One does not control reiki energy at all. Reiki energy itself has it's own life force consciousness. I have though unfortunately found out that reiki CAN BE dangerous if used with ego and mixed together with another usually safe healing energy I had been experienced in using (I'd never used reiki energy with ego before I had a horrific experience with it. I experimented one day and used them together in ego for more power.
I attempted to heal someone from the celebal palsy he'd been born with, urgh I wanted to be the one to heal him.. so much ego there with that. I really learnt from what then happened. This caused the one I sent the energy to start vomiting blood, scarily lots and lots of blood, we had to give him a bucket due to all the blood and he had to be rushed to hospital, I do not know if he survived. I do not know if the hospital would have been able to help fix what I caused to occur. I was too embarrassed after this incident to even inquire :( , none of my class knew what I did and I didn't want to stand out by asking about the class mate I had done distance healing during an reiki class. So it is true that in some situations reiki can be DANGEROUS and this situation I would have certainly caused bad karma to myself as I did harm by it and my heart and my thoughts were not in the right place when I tried that healing.. all for the wrong reason so now possibly have a death on my karmic tally of this life. So Sadhguru is correct when he says there can be unexpected negative results when doing healings.
As far as pranic healing goes though in which one is controlling the energy, my pranic healing Master taught that it was good to do service work towards others as it creates good karma, that includes the energy healing he taught. I once did try to do a healing which I could feel I wasn't supposed to do (yes that time it certainly was ego too), I knew this as I found that the person had a natural energy shield around them which they themselves hadn't put there so I had to force the energy through it, crash the shield to go to them. I wanted to prove to myself that I could send healing strong enough to crash someones shield. (sighs.. feel terrible to this day about doing that, maybe I left that person open to something else bad by doing that). I hope I did not cause harm. That healing caused the energy to backlash back at me and a bit painfully come back and go up my arm and this energy just felt wrong, tainted energy. Lesson for me certainly then learnt to not do any healing which doesnt feel right to do (so I often say no to people when asked because sometimes it just doesnt feel right). Is there truly an issue at taking on some karma from others as after all we are one. If a bit of that does happen so be it, Im still doing service work were Im coming from my heart. (healing is work to me and not a fun at all thing to be doing).
So sorry you had to experience these bad things but as a doctor myself some disease medicine can't cure and certainly it's a karma a person must experience but in islam they say every disease has cure and it could be that the person himself should cure himself
I hate to say this but that wasn’t Reiki you were directing, even if you think you were. Reiki can’t be controlled and directed nor does it cause bodily harm as it is God force energy. But I really appreciate your awareness of self. I try to leave my ego out of my healing practice too which isn’t easy but crucial to do.

Interesting, I wonder how he feels about Pranic healing then. I've witnessed many people get healed, from babies to adults. It's about getting your insides clear to do the work.

Reiki is the universal life force energy that flows within and surrounds every human being, it make some humans as its channels to heal others and the intruments( healers) charges fee for that which neutralise the karmic transfers. Healings r 100% safe and secure if done under divine guidence ( understanding nature's laws ) and with good intention.
Sadhguru clearly separate therapy from healing system and people's lack of understanding of how to use this tools and what they serve for.
Concerning the lady's 2nd question, how can you interact with someone and avoid karma? That's a contradiction...
Sadhguru was nice in his answer simply goes with the flow.

@GW I respect your opinion and that is your truth only. To others this is not manipulating energies, it’s guiding energies. It’s doesn’t interfere because it’s universal energies we are all tapped into it already it’s just learning to use it and help others. It doesn’t prevent illnesses, it optimizes physical, mental and spiritual well-being. I have reiki 1&2 certificate and I’ve done reiki on myself and it has calmed down my anxiety. I suffered from anxiety and depression for so long and I see a good improvement. To do reiki on other is energy exchange so of course nothing is for free but I agree that some practitioners becomes greedy and selfish. Those practitioners can’t access universal healing of reiki even if they believe they did because they need to clean their intentions and their hearts first in order to help others.
A blessing sometimes could also be a curse.

In ancient Greece, the 12 Gods had also human characteristics or human tendencies, but this is probably because people were given them those characteristics to justify their own experiences....
You may ask, so why then there is hate and anger in this world, in humans? Difficult question which needs a lot of analysis. But I could just say here that these feelings exist because of the 'ego' self and ego is stimulated by the mind. That's why ego is not so prevalent in animals and small kids. Reiki is unconditional love, as a reiki practitioner l am just a conduit for chi ( life force energy) if the person feels called to ask for help in any clearing that they feel is needed then l assist them in that. It's always done with love. Are you suggesting we should be fearful and not confident in that? His opinions seem to always have a lot of that fear based reasons why we shouldn't do this or that, lf one chooses to think and believe in fear over something that is done in love well then believe that. Why complicate it with negative thoughts of not being good enough or unexperienced ...with something l know and feel in my heart. ❤

Sadguru’s comments are really misleading. The point is made at the expense (in the name) of practices he knows nothing about. Maybe because Reiki actually works! @Gaia Barone I make money being of service to others - in the arts industry, commercial construction, and wellness. I heal myself, thank you. There's no other way to heal. Your comment just proved my point about the ignorance about Reiki. Reiki is a lot like what Sadguru offers, meditation and spiritual guidance with a somatic component. In this video he used the classic patriarchal move of denouncing something to uplift his own. You can make similar points without speaking negatively and using precision and deep understanding on a subject.

His teachings will make you work . Work on your inner self . Inner engineering will surely bring change in the habits and acquired character of the person .The person who receives healing doesn’t have to do any inner work . Providing / receiving Healing and doing yoga is totally different .
We are all God. We came from that source. You are another me in a different body. Reiki is not playing God, it’s a universal energy you tap to and channel it to the client, which exists in all of us, we just learn to tap into it. I’ve got a reiki certificate 1& 2 and that’s not what we are taught. Reiki optimizes physical, mental and spiritual health, it can’t completely shield you and prevent you from illnesses. I think sadhguru should know that as ‘guru’ himself there is no right and wrong in this world. There’s no black and white. What works on some people won’t work on all, some feel they are better off with Theta healing or transcendental mediation etc etc. Whatever comes to your path is meant to be for a reason. This universe has infinite truths, we all have different perspectives that change all the time, that doesn’t mean I’m correct and you’re wrong or that we are both wrong or right. There’s no such thing, experiences and perspectives are very personal and people pointing and judging other people’s truths have no knowledge to begin with. What is true to me might not be true to you and the other way around too. What is the truth if it doesn’t feel right to you? That is the most important question to ask yourself and whatever answer you get doesn’t mean is everyone’s truth, it’s just yours.

Very well said.. There are so many skeptics for Sadhguru and his hummer cars. Does it make him cruel or corrupted? People always have opinions.. so do gurus. That does not mean you need to accept everything everyone says.
Lets assume that we are in the early days of Ayurvedha or Homeopathy or even English medicine. If someone influential asks you to stop meddling with the medicines because we don't know its effects, would these medicine system have flourished? Only by embracing a practice, you can learn more about it.
Please have an open mind. We've all done more harm to the society, planet and to the universe. There's not much worse things to do anyways. Anything we do towards spiritual progress would be useful to mankind.
The one with true knowledge will never deny an knowledge of another person even though he may disagree. Because deep down, he would know that he knows nothing and the other person's knowledge could be true too.
As a reiki practitioner we are taught not to get attached to results. Without being egoistic just be a humble channel of divine current and in careful mode pass on the energy to the receiver as a pipeline allow water to flow through it. Just as we use passwords etc to access data we use certain symbols to chennelise certain frequency of energy like we do with radios TV's etc. No meddling done. The questioner is ignorant totally.
I'm sorry but every spiritual diciple teaches this, and even they are unsuccesful lol. I can't accept egolessness from people who consider themselves fit to heal others. Well, most of them.

I find a lot of video's by Sadhguru interesting but this one I don't understand. I've been a reiki master for years and now I'm told I'm immature and playing God?
I'm not playing with anyone's energy or fait. If someone doesn't want to receive reiki it's not going to work anyway. I have years of experience with that. I have learned not to offer anyone reiki anymore but to only do it on request and then there can be nothing wrong with that. And if no one wants my reiki I just give it to myself. How am I "playing God" then?
In my younger years I did yoga, the energy I felt back then (which Indians call prana) felt exactly the same as *reiki* energy. Because it is the same energy: *prana* (Indian). *chi* (Chinese) or *ki* (Japanese). The Chinese call this *chi gong* (working with energies) and the most common *qi gong* for the Chinese is *tai chi.* *Tai chi* is a lot like *yoga,* the only difference being that *tai chi* is more dynamic for it has a non-stop movement where yoga asana's are sometimes just poses.
I stopped practicing reiki on others when I noticed a pattern.
Physical and mental ailments are merely a symptom and when I used reiki to "patch a hole" in others the problem always resurfaced in another manner.
For example... if someone came with constant shoulder pain and I worked on that... within weeks something would happen to injure that shoulder worse.
Pains are here to teach a lesson & shortcuts to end the pain create more lessons to be learned.
I always liked Sadhguru, generally speaking. But his ego is kicking in, lately I notice that he has biased opinions on issues he's not familiar with. No Reiki practitioner who has learned it from the most genuine of its tradition, would play God. The Reiki practitioner is just an instrument, no more than that, a channel for the Universal Life Energy to do its work. I respect Sadhguru, but this is nonsense. There are good and bad Reiki practioners, just as there are good and bad gurus or good and bad Yoga teachers. This happens in absolutely all areas of life. I must admit that the way this girl's question is phrased is strange, but I don't know her and I choose not to judge her approach. Generalizing a topic like this, does seem childish, tendentious and basic on his part.
True. I too feel the same. I too am a follower of Sadhguru, but with all due respect, these days he is becoming more of a celebrity than a Saint. Earlier he used to run for people, spreading knowledge and wisdom, and now he don't care who needs his attention. It's just the hype he is focused on. Don't know if it is his intention or if it is the setup of the people who run the institution.
With much respect, I submit my comment as a Reiki Practitioner. Sadhguru does make a interesting point...and he is absolutely right - meddling in someone's karma without knowing the whole is completely irresponsible. With respect to Reiki, let me submit this for clarity. Reiki is an energy healing modality with an underlying science - I assume this is also true with yogic practice. Many practitioners will "borrow" from different spiritual systems and religions to get an orientation to Reiki that is familiar to them. I have seen some borrow from New Age, Hinduism, Buddhism, and even Christianity. The irresponsible part of all this is inter-mixing the healing with infusing the "borrowing" to be seen as the source of healing...not as the vehicle for healing. Such a representation is utterly irresponsible. I do not know if Sadhguru has had Reiki training, but the way I learned had nothing to do with any of the current religious systems - including New Age. So, I say all of that to say that underlying his main point, I find agreement, but I do not apply that to Reiki in and of itself.
Now when Sadhguru opposes Reiki so many are just blindly side with his views. Why can't he at the same time speak any thing about some religious persons sing songs, gather to carry out mass meditation etc. Are they not playing with others' prana or spirits? Are you sure? If they don't play with others' karma or spiritual sentiments then what's the use of mass players?

25 years of healing work by grace of Guru's and ancient systems going back til time immortal. We have stopped numerous unnecessary operations. I had a student of sadhguru come recently. She is a yoga teacher of Issa and had no energy. I saw she had a entities causing her loss and pain on 1 side of her body. As a healer we can help such people. We are only a channel to the source. I always like what sadhguru says but on this topic he is off the mark. I've seen many Guru's who don't help their devotees and collect big sums of money for teachings. Also seen amazing healings from Guru's do to their immense compassion for their children. They see their students as their children. Ancient systems and traditions around the world have always had shamans and yogis, kuhunas, that did healing work for the community. It's been going on for thousands of years.
That means even isha and aol are playing with others energies. Doctors also cant play with patients energies

I dont agree with this. Energy healers dont 'heal people' we help people to activate the natural healing properties in their body which everyone have since birth but got blocked by unbalance energies. The problem is some people do not went through proper training for reiki for example but start performing reiki on people which is very irresponsible. If you truly understand what you are doing and how to do it, it would be perfectly fine. In terms of karma. If a person wasnt supposed to heal from something the universe wouldnt make them find any help in the first place nothing is a coincidence everything is meant to happen at the right time at the right moment.

Firstly you do not meddle. You ask permission or the person asks you directly. So if someone says to me can you send healing to my wife i say i need their permission unless they are unable to speak etc. If they are unable to speak then i tune in and say i send reiki to so and so if it is for their higher good. I have questioned whether i take something on because i get a lot of issues. I dont do a lot of reiki and ive never charged for it. If god is in all of us and we are 'one" on some level then ultimately i am also sending reiki for myself. I am hoping to help someone with their suffering if i choose to do reiki. No other reason. I dont advertise that i do it. Not really any different to prescribing a pill to heal. Are doctors not playing God? Are pills not energy? Is everything not energy? Not a lot of sense gleaned from this video im afraid.
P.s i guess there is some way of wanting to play God because if God says i want this little child to suffer a slow and painful death and whilst shes at it i want her to be fearful and without love then i might say "i think there might be a better way to learn" and maybe interfere or hope someone else might interfere. So is God letting them suffer while we have chosen compassion or maybe God has guided that person to act. Who knows? Its a strange universe we live in.

My reiki master says we shouldn’t offer healing by ourselves . The person should ask for it . But most of us are learning reiki out of compassion and offer to cure without knowing the person truly. What manifested that disease and their part in it must be addressed.
When we think we are healing it then our body may get affected . We should always remember we are just channelling energy. But human mind can bring some pride in it . Which will add more karma to us . Stick to self healing . That should be fine .

The lady asked that reiki practitioner should not get other person’s karma when healing them . Sadhguru clearly explained to her that dont play god then if you dont want others karma ... as a healer you tend to absorb others baggage while doing healing , that means you tend to feel their pain and take their pain to alleviate their’s and by doing so you play the role of god by taking pain of their devotee ... so as a healer if you are not ready for that which means if you are not ready to play the role of god so dont do healing ... because if you want to do healing u have to play like god which means u will take pain of others ( karma of others) to heal other person or help them in some way ... here sadhguru compared a healer to god , if you are not ready as a healer to become god to take pain of ur devotee (client) so dont do healing on others ... only a true healer can do so and by true means who has healed enough to take others pain otherwise it will be a huge burden for the healer .. a true healer is like god , so thats why sadhguru is saying that u cannot play god with gloves on ... means , u cannot expect to heal others and not take their pain (karma) ... from my point of view ....

So, Person C ask someone to help out Person B (Person C is only a channel). So, that someone warns Person A not to mess with Person B. Now, Person B problem is solved. Unknowingly to Person C (a reiki healer), Person B actually owes a lot of money to Person A. So, actually Person A only wants to get back his money. Most "Reiki practitioners" I have seen substitute the professional or personal success they missed having by donning on the mantle of the healer. They are themselves sick most of the times, and they are trying to help others cure their ( the others') sickness! That said, Reiki is a genuine powerful art of healing and there are certainly Reiki masters who deserve our highest reverence, but when Reiki is doled out like candies to poor children -- well, then, that is neither Reiki nor the receivers practitioners! Every genuine Reiki practitioner has his/her "OWN" energy -- which, though certainly a part of the Universal Energy, -- is available to them to use whenever they want because they have qualified themselves to access it 24x7. (Only the Reserve Bank prints the currency notes and only the Government releases them; but we can "OWN" the notes through the salary we receive at the workplace or through the goods we manufacture/sell and the and services we offer. Get the idea?). Many Reiki practitioners just wave their hands in the air and imagine they have "invoked" the Reiki Energy and "give" Reiki and "send" Reiki to distant places while unable even to bring down their own high blood glucose levels! (It reminds me of the "spirits invoked" through planchette by school and college students wanting to sensationalize an idle hour!) It would be quite hilarious were it not for the imaginary Reiki practice giving the alleged practitioners the false sense of being empowered people, helping humanity, and thus robbing them the chance to do what little they have the ability to do and REALLY heal THEMSELVES FIRST.

Reiki is Cho Ko Reiki Do so it does sound like a martial art, but it’s only meant to channel life energy and to heal mental and physical. When I first heard about Reiki I thought it was Hokus Pokus. Until I had a healing performed. It was quite refreshing. I had an ache in my neck and after the healing it was gone. So I was attuned and started practicing. I took a plant that was dying and I performed Reiki on it each day for two weeks. The first week it went from being brown and almost dead, to green and growing leaves. Reiki is not a religion all things are made of energy all a reiki practitioner does is just channel energy. It is egoless it is unseen but can be felt. If you were to use reiki against an attacker you will probably get laughed at. But they may thank you for the healing.

Sadhguru perspective does not make sense here. Being a reiki practitioner does not involve "playing" with someone else's energy. it involves assisting higher energy, divine light to flow through you into another persons energy field to assist them in healing & letting go of lower energies that are stuck in their energy system. Him saying its "playing god" is like telling a doctor that they are playing god by giving someone medicine for a cold. His logic is not strong & it is obvious that Sadhguru himself is not educated or lacks experience with the world of energy healing. He shouldn't be talking on subjects like this in my opinion.
Sadhguru doesn’t understand reiki and therefore is not capable of commenting on it. Reiki although rediscovered by a Japanese is already explained in our scriptures. The core concept is working on your seven chakras. It’s nothing but scaler waves which when you lay hands on someone puts you in resonance with. There are core principles of reiki and you are not supposed to give it to anyone against their wishes. I am a reiki master since last 16 years and a scientist by profession. My own parents and husband never believed in it and that was fine by me. Recently my husband who is a scientist expressed desire to learn it.

There is a lot of undeserved criticism of Reiki by people who don't understand it and by people spreading misinfornation. Someone yesterday told me that in Reiki we are forbidden to touch the patient. That's just not true.

Reiki has its own intelligence,it cannot cause harm to the practitioner since you are only acting as conduit for the energy. Reiki will only be guided by the intention to only work at the highest vibration possible, therefore will never cause harm to the individual receiving it. This is what most people don’t understand about Reiki

This is such a close minded view point, and also as full of ego as he claims using reiki is. As a Reiki Master/Teacher, I can confirm that WE are not the healers, therefore, we are not ever playing god. We simple allow for the increased channel of energy so the PERSON can heal themselves. A situation or path will not change. We cannot influence a different outcome that is already pre-ordained. People who practice Reiki who believe any of these things, need to reassess their involvement through Reiki. Regardless, to make blanket statements like these is dangerous and judgemental.

This is misleading people about reiki science ,the cause may be that reiki people can do many thing by themself like doing aura cleaning ,negativity cleaning etc possible that he may be not want that people do it by self becoz if people do ot by self then who come in his center for paide aura cleaning , negativity clearing ritual perform in his center in name of yaugna etc. This is the main reason he is misleading people from reiki. I meet many people who practice shambhavi as guided by sadguru and their life are spoiled too much that all their families are under too much stress as per thinking of sadhguru then he and his practice are harmful to mankind. In my vision it is completely misleading or lack of understanding about the concept of energy becoz energy is energy where ever you are it is same what ever you practice, it is not the thing that is wrong the main issue is it not used in proper forms by people themselves and get effected as per law of universe so known as karamfal. So in simple it is practice of reiki, meditation , kriya yog or shambhavi dhiyan etc is impacting negative ,it is you or practinor of the field either he or she is doing inner engineering from sadguru, or reiki or doing some other kind of meditation or doing some other life work in any sector. Directly healing someone (or playing God), sounds irresponsible indeed… in this video the questioner could have been an empath who was trying to single-handedly heal a lot of messy emotions and traumas of her clients… taking on others PTSD into herself and letting them accumulate as C-PTSD. Using massive empathy to heal is not the point of Reiki (and is dangerous to oneself).
It is a massive responsibility to be an energy healer. Not all can or should do it. Perhaps only great Reiki masters know the tools and technique for healthy healing and healthy self-care practices. They probably use selective empathy to connect with others (to avoid absorbing other’s traumas and pain) combined with a fine tuned intuition to let the sufferers guide their own healing - by psychically surrendering in the moment to the universe.
I imagine a Reiki master only inspires the patient to shuffles their own energy by sensing the power of surrendering combined with the power of someone’s compassionate and grounded energy.

If someone caught a cold , it is better to teach them how to recover better and build up a stronger body so that the person will not get sick easily. There is no need for Reiki to heal such a cold , unless there are no other ways to do it.
Real miracles are rarely performed as it is rarely neccessary in the world , if someone could raise the dead , there would cause a lot of problem and you need a level of understanding how to handle them when this things are performed.
Reiki from the root of Usui Mikao only says : body spirit improvement , Usui Reiki healing method. There are not a single word about hands on healing anyone.
It is only out of ego for anyone who wish to use energy to do small stuff that could be done through our own effort.

Real teaching of Reiki is very rare in today's world , most people who came in contact with Reiki doesn't know the true content of the system as there are no available teaching that teach them in the world.

Well if that is true why do you teach Yoga? It’s a way of telling people how to control and restore balance through energy.. Isn’t it so? Reiki guides the person energy so they can heal themselves because like yoga people need a little help to get things moving. So I don’t believe they are trying to play G-d. Reiki was discovered by a Buddhist monk just like Yoga was created by the Indian mystics. Reiki is teaching energy it’s doing it and Yoga is teaching how with energy and hoping that they are doing it.

Yoga lead a person to the ulitmate truth of life , a person who knows yoga know how to live a healthy life. Yoga enhance life experience and help a person to know life. Reiki in todays world is no more than just about a transcation for a cold theraphy. When a person do not even know his life , how could he know the life beyond his own ?
We are all incarnation of God, that is why we say'Namaste' which means i acknowledge the God within you, and the other person says the same thing to you too. Such simple things are beyond the comprehension of such fake gurus.
