reference point the forgotten horse. he was found to be injured, if you watch carefully he suddenly changes legs very early in the race maybe thats where it happened (??,) his heart kept him going then he hit a wall in the straight. but the winner was superb that day
Yes but i think he raced the Aga Khans pacemaker also, which unfortunately with his injury , proved to much. Which was sad as he was alot better than his showing here.
That was an amazing turn of foot, that was instant acceleration. They must have gone hell of a fast early doors as the 1st and 2nd were last all the way. I totally disagree with John Oaksey that his acceleration wasn't the same as Dancing Braves, for me it was way better. Anyone know what Eddery said when he compared the 2?

Eddery did everything right and the gaps opened for him...
gets better with every watch - that's how to go for a gap
Looked more impressive than it was as they went too fast early... no coincidence that the last 2 entering the straight finished 1-2...
@Stephen Small Based on beating Tony Bin by 2 lengths ??
@Stephen Small It really wasn't.. that's why he couldn't beat Natroun in the French Derby and a nag like Theatrical in the BC.
'The turn of foot was superior' 😆 🤣 😂

I remember Pat said that the acceleration Trempolino showed in the Arc was every bit as good as Dancing Braves the year earlier.
Sectionals show DB was far better than Trempolino finishing kick.
