Very nice for them to give out this info freely, a valued grower.

Great info to have and even if I don't any Disa plants now..we will never know when this video will pop into mind while holding a pot full of Disa. Good luck with growing and obtaining that yellow Disa.

I need to yellow one plus the one that's used for many hybrids - Disa uniflora - bright orangey red.

Fingers crossed for them, they are pretty 🧡. We stayed at the base of Table Mountain for a while and when we told our hosts we were going to go up to the top on the cable car they said be sure to choose a day when the weather was clear because the Mountain often had its 'cap on' which meant it was covered in cloud. Sure enough we had beautiful views for a few hours but the clouds came by the afternoon and we couldn't see anything after 🤷‍♀️

Glad you found someone who was willing to share information and perhaps be a source for more. This will be an interesting experiment.

I'm reasonable certain my last ones died shortly after repotting as the peat was stored wet and contained mould. Once it was exposed to air and the young plants were potted the mould just rotted them.

Hi Roger, if I am able to ever find one of these beauties, I think I will try it in moss, perlite in a wick self-watering pot. I am keeping my eyes open, yours are lovely!

Apart from dealing with Dave Parkinson Plants (the nursery) if he's still trading, these just don't come up for sale - people look at what's required and just give them a miss.

Your Disas are beautiful! I especially like the peachy color. I look forward to your adventures with them in the future.

It’s. Interesting how information becomes distorted, and how flexible you can be with orchids. This has proved that the, Ancient Scrolls, may need updating.

The best one is often used for Paphiopedilums - "feed weakly weekly". By then they could be bone dry or still wet from the last time.

Whichever it is, the chance to buy so many plants in one pot for such a price will never come up again (unless this guy sells some more).

Could you go back to basics? I'm just learning. My oncidium's tag has lots of letters and numbers. How do you read the tags?
