I’ve been to Las Vegas twice. Both times I felt comfortable wearing my jewelry. We mostly walked down the strip but police presence was high. I did purchased jewelry insurance to cover for loss or stolen prior to leaving and still have the coverage. You can never be to safe. I would love to get 5mm 18k Diamond cut Franco for my wife. If I’m in a city environment like Vegas I always like to keep my jewelry tucked in the streets till I get to where I’m going. I also am hesitant to wear a lot of jewelry at the club because there are so many people in tight quarters with low lighting and drinks flowing. If I’m in a more confined area where there is plenty of security/police, I’d definitely wear it hanging out. I’m over on the east coast & I just got back from Cherokee, NC where I went to their casino and I honestly walked around both inside the casino & outside out to dinner with my double stacked Jacoje ropes & diamond cross, without any issues or worries. For the most part I feel safe wearing jewelry when traveling but my pieces aren't over the top. I think the most important part is to be cautious of your surroundings and see what everyone else is wearing overall. My dad always wore a lot of gold when playing the tables. He saw it as a good way to distract other gamblers. I think it is safe to wear your jewelry anywhere in the United States during the day. Obviously at night time things can change a little, but even the smallest amount of mindfulness will keep you out of trouble. Been plotting on a custom pendant for a while. I have one chain that’s too short and one that’s too long so I combine them into one 40” chain and layer it that way. Only problem is after a little movement I am choking myself. Great video. I recently bought an American gold eagle coin pendant from Jacoje and now I’m thinking about getting jewelry insurance. I only wear it on special occasions and I plan to keep in it my family for generations. But I do worry that one day something can happen and my hard earned investment will be stolen. I've never been to Vegas, but the same rule that i have regarding jewelry and travel would apply here. I wouldn't wear anything I didn't feel comfortable with losing because I don't know the area as well and wouldn't want anything bad to happen. I have not yet experienced the adventures of Las Vegas, but would advise in any big city setting to be aware of your surroundings and level of safety. If walking down the street in a down town area I would think it best to tuck in your chains, once you arrive at your destination bar, restaurant, ect then you can untuck them. I feel that maybe as long as you don’t wear extremely big or flashy jewelry you should be fine when traveling. I think if you are going to Vegas then you have to wear your jewelry because if there's any time to wear your nice stuff it would be in Vegas! If it were me I would keep it subtle for the most part by tucking into the shirt and only bringing the minimum amount of jewelry that I would need for the trip.

I don't have a chain yet. I've been saving up to get an authentic jacoje "plated" (jk) chain but lifes been kicking my butt recently. When I finally do get a jacoje chain, I feel like it would depend on where I was going. If I was walking around downtown at night or drinking, probably not. But any other occasion during the day time I would feel safe wearing it.

Im a nurse here in the philippines and wearing a gold jewelry in a 3rd world country is risky but that's why i invested in gold jewelry because i could wear it. I’ve been to Las Vegas twice. Both times I felt comfortable wearing my jewelry. We mostly walked down the strip but police presence was high. I did purchased jewelry insurance to cover for loss or stolen prior to leaving and still have the coverage. You can never be to safe.

You were nervous about a small chain like that? In high school i wore a 6-7mm franco with jesus pendant, and this is when gold was cheap. My 2.5mm white gold franco literally gets no attention. You don't have to worry about wearing jewelry unless its gigantic.
I normally tuck in my chain if I decide to wear one. When I first got my yellow gold chain I originally wanted to keep it over my shirt, but now I enjoy the subtlety. I would still continue to keep my chain tucked in whether it be in Vegas, or anywhere else.

If I’m in a city environment like Vegas I always like to keep my jewelry tucked in the streets till I get to where I’m going. I also am hesitant to wear a lot of jewelry at the club because there are so many people in tight quarters with low lighting and drinks flowing. I would never wear every piece I had to any place and remember, a few thousand dollars isn’t worth your life. One piece that I would wear everywhere tho is that 22” 3mm white gold diamond cut franco chain! I buy my jewelry so I can wear it but depending on how well I know the area will tell me whether I should wear it tucked in or hanging out. If I’m in a more confined area where there is plenty of security/police, I’d definitely wear it hanging out. When you come from where I grew up, you learn to be aware and protect yourself and your property. I would love to see a 9.5 Cuban link ring on my finger before my anniversary coming up as an alternate wedding band or a white gold rope chain being that I’ve never owned a white gold piece of jewelry. I’m over on the east coast & I just got back from Cherokee, NC where I went to their casino and I honestly walked around both inside the casino & outside out to dinner with my double stacked Jacoje ropes & diamond cross, without any issues or worries. I personally feel it’s safe to where your jewelry out as long as you are responsible and aware of your surroundings you should be good to go. Plus like you said there are cameras & security everywhere in Vegas… My dream chain is definitely a 24” (3,4,or 5mm), diamond cut Franko in 14k yellow gold. It would be a dream come true to win one. I love going to edm music festivals and dream about going to EDC Las Vegas. I always worry about wearing my 2mm Figaro link chain dancing because it's my only chain so I would be devastated if It was lost or stolen. All that being said I still wear it anyways because life is too short to live in fear. I can't wait to get a Jacoje chain next! Vegas local right here, just staying aware of surroundings when you're out in public is a good way to stay safe. I always wear my jacoje 2.5 rope paired with my mini diamond boss cross and a 5.5mm figaro on the wrist and always feel safe all over town. If I win I would choose a diamond channel set ring in size 7

I wear my chains every where I go and never take them off or worry about being robbed. A lot of people are wearing jewelry these days and it’s just part of everyday attire for them as well. In my opinion, you should enjoy your jewelry and wear it, as you have earned it. Keep yourself out of certain situations and you’ll never have to worry about it. My dream chain would be a classic 22” 6mm rope in 18kt!

From Vegas to the grocery store, rock the chain no matter what. Feel like i'm starting to see chains on everyone so you don't look like too much of a target when out and I live in a primarily rural/agriculture area. You guys are right tho and times are crazy and you don't even have to have a lot for someone to want to take from you. If you're somewhere sketch, tuck it and keep it moving. For the most part I feel safe wearing jewelry when traveling but my pieces aren't over the top. I think the most important part is to be cautious of your surroundings and see what everyone else is wearing overall. Like Braden mentioned, everyone in Vegas has these crazy pieces whether real or not so I think Vegas isn't super unsafe when it comes to jewelry. Just always be careful and it never hurts to check that your jewelry is still on! I would love to win a 3mm plain Franco 20", that would be INCREDIBLE. I myself just went on vacation, very dripped out, with the love of my life and they completely broke my heart 🥲💔 This video coincides so well with my life right now. I definitely used the hotel safe because I was at six flags and was not about to wear my 26 or 30 inch chain on a roller coasters, less I bang up my pendants. But vegas is generally a fine place to wear jewlery, especially in the busy areas. As you say security is generally heavy on the strip. Winning a 22 inch 7mm firago or 7mm mariner would be the most insane spirit lift right now. Love your teamwork and partnership, you two were meant for each other.

Best advised would be to keep your head on a swivel and be aware of your surroundings when traveling. Being aware and not glued to your phone makes you less of a target. Plus, If you’re in a location where it’s not safe, conceal your jewelry.

If you go to Vegas you have to show how ballin' you are and need to flex what you got! I think as long as you are aware of your surroundings and not going to scetchy places you should be good. When im out I'm always aware of my surroundings and try not to flaunt my jewelery if the situation seems a little sketchy, I will put my hands in my pockets to not show off my bracelets or rings and usually keep my chains tucked in aswell but In the right environment I will show it off, the vibe just has to be right and always be aware of your surroundings.

Vegas is a crazy town with a lot of people on the lookout for easy money...with that said, I have always felt safe on the strip and walking in most of the casinos, so I wouldn't hesitate in wearing jewelry. My dad always wore a lot of gold when playing the tables. He saw it as a good way to distract other gamblers. It diverted their attention away from his eyes and away from the game, and while their attention was diverted, he was cleaning up at the tables...There you have it, my opinion on wearing jewelry in Vegas and a good tip on how to use jewelry to your advantage at the tables. You definitely want to tuck your jewelry in if you ware in certain places such as the Las Vegas strip, New Orleans bourbon street, etc. But other than that, I feel pretty comfortable having my chain out in most places. I think it is safe to wear your jewelry anywhere in the United States during the day. Obviously at night time things can change a little, but even the smallest amount of mindfulness will keep you out of trouble.
Been plotting on a custom pendant for a while. I have one chain that’s too short and one that’s too long so I combine them into one 40” chain and layer it that way. Only problem is after a little movement I am choking myself. Having a pendent to hold them together would complete my Jacoje setup!

You have to flex in Sin City, because that's what Vegas is all about. I say conceal the sentimental, and show the material. You have to enjoy the things in life that you work hard to obtain. I feel like that's probably how you guys feel, because that triple chain stack with the tennis bracelet and the pinky ring has to make you feel like you can place 5 figures on black whilst getting comped a better suite than Wayne Newton.. I love this type of vlog and think you should vlog whenever you travel. When I travel or just in general I like to be cautious and pay attention to my surroundings. Even though I only have small chains that aren’t easily visible. I would love an 8mm Cuban link bracelet and matching ring because even though you have the presence you can always just put your hand in your pocket and people won’t notice it. I’m actually born and raised in Las Vegas! Which is actually pretty rare because a lot of people move here. Being born and raised here I know where to rock my jewelry and where to tuck it in. Great video. I recently bought an American gold eagle coin pendant from Jacoje and now I’m thinking about getting jewelry insurance. I only wear it on special occasions and I plan to keep in it my family for generations. But I do worry that one day something can happen and my hard earned investment will be stolen. Knowing my luck, this would happen to me. I’m an average Joe who worked hard for this pendant and I would not feel safe wearing it in Vegas. At least not without having it insured. Any thoughts on jewelry insurance Raquel/Braden? I’m looking at Jewelers Mutual any other suggestions?

Braden, I feel that wearing jewelry is a statement on how you want to carry yourself and be viewed by others. We all have different styles based on personality and by not wearing your pieces, you would be untrue to who you are. I don't know whether or not I would feel comfortable wearing jewelry anywhere in the US (at least in the big cities) I have a general rule that if I don't feel secure enough to wear my jewelry in a place I see no reason to go on vacation there. I've never been to Vegas, but the same rule that i have regarding jewelry and travel would apply here. I wouldn't wear anything I didn't feel comfortable with losing because I don't know the area as well and wouldn't want anything bad to happen. It's better to stay safe than worry about flexing to strangers.
Id like to get an 18 or 20 inch 5mm yacht link for my girlfriend. I can't afford to get her a heavy chain yet, especially with her asking for an engagement ring, but she loved the way it looked on Raquel around jacoje day and it would make her happy.

I feel like wearing jewelry in Vegas is a little more normal because everyone wants to look as flashy and fancy as possible while there on vacation. Obviously you still want to be careful and not go out in remote areas by yourself in general or with anything expensive. Especially at night.

I have not yet experienced the adventures of Las Vegas, but would advise in any big city setting to be aware of your surroundings and level of safety. If walking down the street in a down town area I would think it best to tuck in your chains, once you arrive at your destination bar, restaurant, ect then you can untuck them. I live in mn, the down town areas of our twin cities are a dangerous place. Really enjoying your new vlog style videos, you and Raquel are a great dynamic duo and are hilarious together! I don’t own expensive jewelry I just have a sterling silver Cuban link bracelet that I wear every time I go out. I feel that maybe as long as you don’t wear extremely big or flashy jewelry you should be fine when traveling. But then there’s also other places with big crowds where even something subtle can catch unwanted attention. It all comes down to crime of opportunity at that point.
I’d love to own a 22 in 5 mm rope chain as my first gold piece if possible cause personally I feel it’s the perfect size for everyday use without the urge of wanting to go bigger
