Now I got suspicious about other videos, if there is something that they are not telling and just making videos for more views and money...I could see many comments thanking, but probably saw only a couple, who says that earned some money. There is such saying, if you don't pay for the product (in this case video) you are the product.

Appen project offers are rare. It's not a job to relay on but a side hussle
I've worked for this company before, between 2017-2019 before CA labor laws changed. Unfortunately, they had to end my contract because of that, but it was a really cool opportunity!
What was the reason your contract ended exactly? I'm in California and I'm not sure what labor laws you're referring to that would warrant them discontinuing working with you.

It's kinda sad that I am having to watch this here to figure out how to navigate their site. They provide NONE of this information. And my portal does not have most of what your portal is showing. Mine is an anorexic version of yours. I don't even have the ability to invoice. No ability to verify my device. None of the things that you have, that might make this a viable income option.

While you say I dont need to worry much about that? What does it mean? But I missed something which is very important for me namely do they pay through PayPal? It happens that I don’t live in the US, so I don’t have a bank account. Additionally, at the end of the video I see you announce two more videos about ways of making money online, both of which you state actually pay. I’m just eager to watch them right now.
Thanks for asking. For my set up, they have my banking details so they direct deposit into my bank, not PayPal. It is possible they may be able to pay out in different methods like PayPal however. If you need banking details, you may be able to get easy routing and account numbers from Cash App

Yes. They monitor our work randomly. Only once you will be given chance to get back to work. Later they will suspend your account.

I just signed up with Appen and wanted to detail my experience in case anyone else had/has similar happen. I signed up with Appen with zero issues and saw jobs I could apply for, applied, and within that amount of time they changed their payment method to a third party called Payoneer. I never registered through Payoneer so I tried to register for an acct. When I did, it said my acct was locked. I reached out to their customer service and they got back to me saying I did something that went against their Terms of Service. I'm not sure what since I never got past logging in. Now since that time I got accepted for a gig with Appen but I guess they have no plans of paying me for it.
Hi David, its most likely , an extension in Chrome or Firefox that is doing something funny, using proxy or something similar. Happened to me, once i disabled the specific extension, the issue went away

Appen is not as good as it used to be. 1) Some of their platform was taken over by a Chinese company. So if you enter into it, they will be able to get access to your information. If you're cool with that then fine. 2) Their main big project was Shasta. Yes if you got into that you can make at least 1k - 2k per month. It was hard to get into and stay in it but it was actually fun to do with all their different side projects. Without giving away details, it was like travelling the world from your home during COVID. However that project was closed down in 2021 and nothing as nice has shown up. At least in the non-Chinese platform.
