I'm 100% sue it's either a pedo ring, someone scamming UA-cam by having bots make and view their videos, or both. The both option seems the most likely.
Looking back on this, I wish there were more channels like it. Taking the formulaic form that kids channels usually strive for and then slowly revealing something more sinister underneath than it initially appeared to be, before it becomes an unsettling horror series.

looking back at the hey kids arg/the lore behind it in 2024, it’s alarming how they basically predicted ai-generated “children’s content”- right down to the uncanny imagery and unsettling vibes
Tbh I actually think that this channel was meant to be a comedic pisstake of these "kid-friendly" Elsagate channels that a) seemed as if they were made by robots and b) never got noticed/moderated by UA-cam's own AI, which is why there is a lot of AI symbolism in this. Unfortunately it seemed to be way ahead of its time, though. The whole Elsagate scandal as well as the Baby Shark/Johnny Johnny yes papa memes didn't happen until very recently, and only then did UA-cam start paying attention to these channels. That's also imo why this channel was never taken for what it really was (a dark comedy channel) and got taken down after this video got popular.
The channel no longer exists. Maybe terminated.
A second channel titled "Hey Kids, AI for Adults" was made. Same channel, but I think the project is dead.
Even if it was a dark comedy what kind of sick person would put something like this on kids youtube
hennochoi I don’t think they did, it was rated V for violence and L for strong language, so they would not show up on kids UA-cam. Though of course that doesn’t stop children from accessing it through regular UA-cam. But the same could be said for any of the inappropriate videos on UA-cam.

Holy cannoli, I just remembered that Jack and Jill dude. Reminds me of when my younger sister watched crappy videos and I constantly had to fight to change it. The main mentality my parents had was that her crying must be immediately stopped or be prevented by giving her what she wants or something just as good. So glad that period of time is over, we kept boxes of cookies on the shelves to get her to behave! Had to watch her all day long and while it was crappy, I've learned and grown from the experience. Certainly, other parents have that same negative mentality. (Not sure if cps is spying on me, but hi there.)

I remember finding this channel a loong time ago, back in the earlier years. There were some videos that made us (about 12 or 13 years old i think) freak out really bad that weren't covered in this video and I've never been able to find them again. One of them was a video of a young indian looking girl in a gray-walled normal room. She stood there reading the alphabet and counting then just listing off random letters/numbers. The video that freaked young me out more was one in the same style as the h*tler and darth maul ones, but it was ronald mcdonald. it caused me a real bad panic attack that didnt die down for at least 2 or so hours if i remember correctly.
Was really hoping you were gonna mention either of those in this video so I would've gotten some more info on why it was so terrifying. Never heard about any of those AI things, though.
Edit: I must've missed it in my first watch, but the indian girl I mentioned was definitely the same one seen at 16:25, Most likely uploaded around the same time.

Researched Hey Kids on a lark awhile ago. Apparently it was the work of an Indian (I think he was Indian, anyway) troll who's semi-well known in his home country. Seems to do a lot of weird stunts like this, but this was his most elaborate.

I stopped at "stardust crusaders finger family", i don't want a finger cut in half, donut-ified, or drained of blood then filled with vampire blood.
This honestly really terrified me as a parent to a small child when I first saw this, and it still does in some ways. But on the other hand its kinda genius too. If it was an ARG with the point of the channel critizing the YT Kids program and also to teach parents to manage what their kids watch and not just leave them alone in front of a screen. Still horrifying for the child to stumble upon the videos tho lol.
If my parent gave me an iPad, and started playing any of the weird shit on the UA-cam kids app, I would be so damn confused and terrified. Legit I think I would’ve turned out quite differently if that’s the shit I grew up with

I just love the spooks and creeps, I was in 2nd grade when fnaf came out. Man I would give anything to go back to those days! I was so young and naive, everything scared tf outta me haha. Hey kids is still going strong to this day, not for video's but from the community page of the UA-cam channel. It shows some picture's of women with foreign text on the left (it gets more weird and- you know what I mean). I don't know if the channel is getting hacked, or it's just what they are doing right now. I need answers
