Will this exhaust function identically whether installed on an NPP car or a non NPP car since it is bolt on? You mention an 18hp gain (IIRC) in the vid. But since NPP adds 5hp to the base model is your increase over and above NPP meaning it would be a 23hp increase ocer a base non NPP C8? I'm trying to determine if there is any reason to add NPP to my C8 if I dont get the Z51 package and plan on getting this exhaust. (ECU mapping for performance exhaust??) Final question: do you offer any guarantee against heat damage to the rear bumper cover considering the significant reduction in heat shielding over a stock C8 exhaust?
Love this AWE exhaust, had one on my C7.. just had it installed on my C8, only question.. on the touring, I get drone in the V4 cylinder mode.. even in Z mode.... how can this be corrected? Is there a way to stop the V4 deactivation? Thanks!!!
Everything is always louder upon initial install and will mellow out upon mileage. Allow ~1k miles to accumulate. Once broken in the exhaust is quieter than stock when in V4 mode. Shifting manually, track mode, or configuring your Z mode (you have to have it configured to to a drive mode within Z mode that would avoid the V4 switch) is the only way to avoid the valve deactivation.
I'm near Baltimore, MD. Where can I get the touring edition installed when I get my car in Nov/Dec? Also, will this still work with HTC or will additional mods be required? Thanks!

Track edition, does it change the sound from loud to less loud when you change modes? Eg spirt, touring, stealth and track modes?
Straight pipes from the cats to the tips. Nothing mechanical to change the sounds.
Will this system void the warranty on a new car
The exhaust does not interfere with the factory emissions equipment so you can proceed with confidence.
What happens the exhaust valves?
The AFM valves are attached to our machined simulator plates, and the NPP valve wires are left unplugged as they're not needed.
Are these smog legal in California ?
They don’t alter or tamper with emissions systems so they should be.
