Thank you for demonstrating the colors! I personally would only use a liquid lipstick for bold or deep colors (like reds) that otherwise could bleed or smear. Usually, liquid lipsticks are just too drying and unflattering when they start showing every line on your lips. That said, it seems that Lisa's formula is much softer than the standard liquid lip, so I might try it in a color like Affair if I needed a neutral that would last all day.

I absolutely love these new Lisa Eldridge liquid matte lipsticks. These are the best liquid lip formulas and colors I have ever tried. My favorite color is Affair (hands down!) and Rain. I have aging lips, and the liquid formula thankfully does not emphasis my lip lines. When I have a long day, I absolutely use these liquid lipsticks. No transfer or feathering. I LOOOOOVEEEEEEE the velvet lipsticks from Lisa Eldridge. Did I already say that I love them? Well... I LOVE them. They hold so well for hours and hours even with greasy dinner involved, they feel great. I have Velvet Pompadour (this one holds less but is a wonderful color), Velvet Ribbon; Velvet Rain and Velvet Bloom (SUCH A GORGEOUS COLOR!). I highly recommend buying the pencil too. The only thing I don't like is that the colors do not match the colors on the website. So I usually look for all kinds of videos and social posts in order to figure out the real color. I was recently in London where Lisa Eldrigde recently got a counter at Selfridges so luckily I got to choose some new colors live.
Agree the colours are a challenge. I’ve tried Dance Card, Pompadour and Bloom - was very pleased that the darker two in particular worked for me. It’s a little bit of a gamble. Envy you being able to see them in person before buying. I’ll have to go to London😊

I love lip tints, more with a summer (elborated) tan. A simple Maybelline SuperStay Wynil Ink suits me so well. Not drying my lips, easy to put on, resisting coffe cups etc.

On you I prefer something with some shine. On my tiny lips I actually prefer something more towards matte even though most people say you should wear gloss to make them bigger it actually just shows off the flatness and makes the over lining more obvious. Lisa Eldridge is the only makeup artist I’ve seen who also said some thing more towards matte is better for small lips. What’s your thoughts? X
I'm a cool/fair brunette with pink and blue undertones, so my favorites would be Rain and Jazz. Most neutrals drain the color from my face. I would consider this formula of a liquid lipstick, but as a rule they are too dry and peel off of my lips shortly after setting. I have super dry lips, so I prefer a more hydrating formula, even if I need to re-apply. That doesn't bother me. 🥰I love cream, satin, and glossy lip formulas. All of the colors looked fabulous on you, Andreea!

I really love this formula. I strongly recommend you try the color Ribbon. It is a really great true red, and really pops in this formula. I started with just two colors, Rain and Muse, and loved the formula so much that I ordered the rest of the colors. I really love Dragon, but am not sure how to wear it yet (what occasion/outfit). I might have to create an outfit just to match the lipstick!

I love everything you show. For lipstick I tend to prefer a light matte so it wears longer on me. I love rich creamy lipsticks also. I bought the Fawn color and think it’s the best liquid lipstick so far. Thanks for all the suggestions about eye makeup with bright lips. ❤

Luckily I only orderd Fawn, because the other colours will look to bright or dark for my taste and complexion. This is my fist liquid lipstick ever, so I have no compairison to other products, I neglegt most of my Original Velvets for a daytime look because of their appearance on my skin. I prefere Lisas LL lipsticks, especially Kitten, Le Mepris (holy grail) and Dance Card. As a German viewer, no need to change the upload time. Watching your video is part of my Sunday morning routine. Have a nice Sunday.

I loved the color dragon on you. It really complimented the bronzer and the eye makeup. However, I'm fair skinned and wouldn't be able to pull it off. I have always loved a matte finish lip but as I get older the glossy lip looks a lot more youthful on me.
It is so good to see a professional makeup artist use bronzer on the face where the sun bronzes the skin. I have long loved this application for my face, but I see so many people using bronzer as contour, in the cheek hollows and under the jaw line. That's where is use contour and I started to think I was crazy seeing my face look so much better using bronzer kind of all over the face. Because that's what the sun did to my face back in the day when I would let it (which I definitely don't yet the sun hit my skin without sunscreen anymore).
I'm wearing Almay lipstick fairly exclusively now because of my asthma and allergies which are unpredictable . I'm not happy with the colors. What i have is fairly moist. My whole skin is just 100% dry so I go with moisturizing for everything. Years ago I tried liquid lipsticks from other brands and they were too drying even then. I'm US PT . thank you - you're 1 in a million as "influencers" go!
Such beautiful colors all together, don't look dry at all. You have a nice eyeshadow with the bright shine, it's really nice especially for the last dark Jazz. I would buy 4 of them, unfortunately it is not possible where I live💄💄💄

I love Lisa, and I have a lot of her make-up; liquid eyeshadow, highlither, but above all ... her lipsticks! I have 6 or 7 velvet, 3 lucent, 3 glosses and 1 velvetine. And guess the shade I love the most? AFFAIR. I have the velvet one, the lucent lipstick, the gloss-balm, end the velvetine! I'm 70, I never apply red lipstick, I prefer colors less "flashy", and for me Affair is the perfect shade, in every formula. You are so gorgeous and young, you can put on your lips all the shades you want! Ypur makeups are stunning and so perfect... Very good job! I apologoze for my english, I'm an old italian girl.

I liked the first one. I go for a satin like lipstick with my older lips. Those looked great on you, too matte makes my lines in my lips, and above the lips stand out.
I purchased the Shiseido concealer and the Bobby Brown mascara and Huda eyeliner you suggested. I love them all and have NO eye irritation and it really lasts so much longer. They are a great quality product. I'm looking forward to purchasing the Shiseido color corrector now.

I like Lisa Eldridge' Fawn and Affair. I only wear long wearing mattes that don't come off until you take it off. It's tough to find. I'm watching around 8:00pm Pacific Time, USA. This is a good time for me but I'm flexible. Love your videos.

I bought 4 then 3 of the 8. The BEST liquid lipstick. And I have tried many many expensive well-known brand liquid lipsticks ! Lightweight, hydrating, longlasting, non transferable and very pigmented. A bit expensive but worth the money.

This formula seems a lot like a Korean matte lip "tint", matte liquid product that lets you play with it, blur it out, do a full coverage lip. It actually reminds me a lot of the matte rom&nd products, but it sets properly instead of wearing off. I am very undecided as to if I want to buy these since I have most of these shades in the velvet lipstick formula. Affair is just one of the best lipstick shades EVER~! As a light medium olive, Affair & Cinnabar are my go-tos for almost any look.
I have rain and muse, both gorgeous and very comfortable. I also have muse from the velvet series, but now i prefer the liquid one, it is a bit brighter in color. I think one should do a comparison between the two series - colors must be a bit different!
I believe they are and its mostly because of the formula. For example I love muse lip gloss on me but velvet muse lipstick looks too dark on me. Now velveteen is somewhere in the middle and I also prefer it now instead of the velvec classic.
3 shades of velveteen later I honestly say these are the best liquid lipsticks I have tried so far. Even compared to the Velvets, these are more forgiving on lip moisture. I actually use them during cold spells as protection against the cold
I made a rule to me that I can only buy new hyped makeup after your review because of your honesty. The color Jazz looks gorgeous on you and I loved the eye makeup you did for this video, I loved how it paired with Dragon and Affair - just Rain seemed a little off. The only color I missed in the video is Ribbon - I am debating on buying it and wanted so much to see it on you since we have a very similar skin tone. My birthday is coming so I know what I am going to gift myself 🥰
That was fabulous, also a huge Lisa fan. Here in Bristol ENGLAND, so normal timing good for me, loving the non drying liquid lipsticks, hate the feel of gloss and not really keen on the look. Love your channel always a joy ❤xxx
What a fabulous in depth review of these lipsticks, thank you. I've tried several liquid lipsticks and hated them all 🙄😂. I'm 68 with lip lines around my mouth and have to be careful what I wear on my lips. Gloss can sometimes wander into my lip lines so I tend to stick with satin type lipsticks. I do use a clear lip liner which helps a lot to keep lipstick from bleeding and I am kind of tempted to try one of these 🤔.
Everything looks amazing on you. I prefer matte for myself, Im always on the go and i dont have time to touch up and matte is less maintenance and longer wearing
I like the original Naked lipstick by Urban Decay. The formula and color are no longer the same as the original. It was the perfect “pink/nude” color, hydrating, great for everyday wear. The color went well with everything. I keep searching for something like it and have never matched it. I like the Maybelline Matte lip color, but I always use a coat of moisture over it to soften the look and hydrate the lips.
The only liquid lipstick I like are the lip maestros from Armani. Will try these. Love Lisa s gloss embrace and lipsticks. Thank you for such a wonderful review.
Oh yeah I’m so all for liquid long lasting lipstick always. By late afternoon I top it with gloss because it does start looking dry even though not drying on the lips.

Cinnabar looked awful in my cool complexion… that’s the only miss I’ve ever had in terms that I expected it to be not so warm

It is so good to see a professional makeup artist use bronzer on the face where the sun bronzes the skin. I have long loved this application for my face, but I see so many people using bronzer as contour, in the cheek hollows and under the jaw line. That's where is use contour and I started to think I was crazy seeing my face look so much better using bronzer kind of all over the face. Because that's what the sun did to my face back in the day when I would let it (which I definitely don't yet the sun hit my skin without sunscreen anymore).
The eye make up is PERFECT !!!!!!!, perfect . the 2nd lip is perfect
I'm wearing Almay lipstick fairly exclusively now because of my asthma and allergies which are unpredictable . I'm not happy with the colors. What i have is fairly moist. My whole skin is just 100% dry so I go with moisturizing for everything. Years ago I tried liquid lipsticks from other brands and they were too drying even then. I'm US PT . thank you - you're 1 in a million as "influencers" go!
Such beautiful colors all together, don't look dry at all. You have a nice eyeshadow with the bright shine, it's really nice especially for the last dark Jazz. I would buy 4 of them, unfortunately it is not possible where I live💄💄💄

I think most of the lipsticks were very beautiful, but I think you were right about the eye make up, didn’t match some of the lipsticks, but they were all very beautiful❤️
I love Lisa, and I have a lot of her make-up; liquid eyeshadow, highlither, but above all ... her lipsticks! I have 6 or 7 velvet, 3 lucent, 3 glosses and 1 velvetine. And guess the shade I love the most? AFFAIR. I have the velvet one, the lucent lipstick, the gloss-balm, end the velvetine! I'm 70, I never apply red lipstick, I prefer colors less "flashy", and for me Affair is the perfect shade, in every formula. You are so gorgeous and young, you can put on your lips all the shades you want! Ypur makeups are stunning and so perfect... Very good job! I apologoze for my english, I'm an old italian girl.

I purchased the Shiseido concealer and the Bobby Brown mascara and Huda eyeliner you suggested. I love them all and have NO eye irritation and it really lasts so much longer. They are a great quality product. I'm looking forward to purchasing the Shiseido color corrector now.

I like Lisa Eldridge' Fawn and Affair. I only wear long wearing mattes that don't come off until you take it off. It's tough to find. I'm watching around 8:00pm Pacific Time, USA. This is a good time for me but I'm flexible. Love your videos.

Lightweight, hydrating, longlasting, non transferable and very pigmented. A bit expensive but worth the money.

This formula seems a lot like a Korean matte lip "tint", matte liquid product that lets you play with it, blur it out, do a full coverage lip. It actually reminds me a lot of the matte rom&nd products, but it sets properly instead of wearing off. I am very undecided as to if I want to buy these since I have most of these shades in the velvet lipstick formula. Affair is just one of the best lipstick shades EVER~! As a light medium olive, Affair & Cinnabar are my go-tos for almost any look.

I have rain and muse, both gorgeous and very comfortable. I also have muse from the velvet series, but now i prefer the liquid one, it is a bit brighter in color. I think one should do a comparison between the two series - colors must be a bit different!
I believe they are and its mostly because of the formula. For example I love muse lip gloss on me but velvet muse lipstick looks too dark on me. Now velveteen is somewhere in the middle and I also prefer it now instead of the velvec classic.
3 shades of velveteen later I honestly say these are the best liquid lipsticks I have tried so far. Even compared to the Velvets, these are more forgiving on lip moisture. I actually use them during cold spells as protection against the cold

I made a rule to me that I can only buy new hyped makeup after your review because of your honesty. The color Jazz looks gorgeous on you and I loved the eye makeup you did for this video, I loved how it paired with Dragon and Affair - just Rain seemed a little off. The only color I missed in the video is Ribbon - I am debating on buying it and wanted so much to see it on you since we have a very similar skin tone. My birthday is coming so I know what I am going to gift myself 🥰

What a fabulous in depth review of these lipsticks, thank you. I've tried several liquid lipsticks and hated them all 🙄😂. I'm 68 with lip lines around my mouth and have to be careful what I wear on my lips. Gloss can sometimes wander into my lip lines so I tend to stick with satin type lipsticks. I do use a clear lip liner which helps a lot to keep lipstick from bleeding and I am kind of tempted to try one of these 🤔.

I like the original Naked lipstick by Urban Decay. The formula and color are no longer the same as the original. It was the perfect “pink/nude” color, hydrating, great for everyday wear. The color went well with everything. I keep searching for something like it and have never matched it. I like the Maybelline Matte lip color, but I always use a coat of moisture over it to soften the look and hydrate the lips.
The only liquid lipstick I like are the lip maestros from Armani. Will try these. Love Lisa s gloss embrace and lipsticks. Thank you for such a wonderful review.

Oh yeah I’m so all for liquid long lasting lipstick always. By late afternoon I top it with gloss because it does start looking dry even though not drying on the lips.
