God i love this episode! It's nice to see a more awkward side of Dee. For a long time he didn't feel exactly "human" when it comes to a character, and this gives him more depth.
That's what made me feel like Dee's weakness would be speaking to someone he actually wants to impress... He's aloof with those who's opinions don't matter, or his family (Because he knows them... or he thinks he does) but his precise nature works against him when discussing things with a girl live. Voice messages? Cool. He can rehearse in his home and send the perfect message... but... in person... His mind races too much: What if I stutter? What if I lock up? Of all things, this small scene with the characters feet and is the probably the best scene in the whole series specially because it treats the dialog like more background noise like the music and spends just these few moments to tale a shot so short and small and put so much character, style, and story into it.... from the sort of charismatic and elegant movement of Heavy all the way to Dee, a agitated and defeated brother who literally kicked the can at the moment... which only puts him down shown with the drop of his phone.

Not to say this one is necessarily bad, but the Russian is absolutely immaculate. In my opinion it says the lines cleaner, with more conviction and emotion. Better characterization and all that shit yk
