I read the Yangchen novels first just because I wanted to stick to a more chronological timeline. I HIGHLY recommend reading the Yangchen novels first becuase they make the Kyoshi novels feel like a nice reward! I'm so glad you made a video about these books because I wanted to know if anyone else struggled with Yangchen like me!

@@MarieLuise-t6b If you have the time to spare I say yes. If you start them and cant stand them then definitely don’t force yourself to finish them. I had nothing else to do so I read them but I know thats not the same for everyone.

I have read the Kyoshi duology but not he Yangchen duology. I loved the Kyoshi novels (Kyoshi is my favorite avatar), but it's nice to hear your thoughts on the Yangchen series. Kyoshi is canonnically bisexual
