You can feed the trivets through the lower slots on the sides; they're spaced to rest the Trangia on them. That way if you're not using the grill plate you can save a couple ounces and leave it at home.
does the titanium version warp bad? im on the fence between stainless steel and titanium. I really want to lighten the pack but I also want the stove to be sturdy and functional
Great video sir and great little stove, thanks for reviewing in such a perfect setting. I have one of these and they are brilliant, great just to watch after cooking too! All the best, Paul
A nice review 👍 .. thanks. Great stove (got one). I use mine with wood, charcoal briquettes (especially handy for stealth marshmallow toasting on a 3rd floor flat balcony), alcohol and gel fuel. It containing the fire is also a plus in 'fire sensitive' areas .. especially with a carbon cloth 'Flammshutzmatte' underneath. If really deemed necessary, I put mine into a military suplus 'dixie' .. which tends to placate Swiss Grannies horrified at the sight of an Ausländer making a fire on top of one their forest benches / tables. Stores nicely inside dixie set with the other half used for boiling water / cooking purposes. Take care ..
Glad you enjoyed the review, I use mine a lot I’m burning mostly sticks and twigs to make a brew, I like the idea with the marshmallows my daughter will love that . 👍
Where's the led lights go?what kind of spark plugs does it use?and can the babysitter use it?can you use it at night?well the elephants smell it?if you use a walking stick, can you still use it?should I avoid using when the moon is full?and finally can I use it while eating a orange?
Nice video, but just hope you don't walk often in the bluebells. It make damage to the flowers that take years to recover. That's what a guy from the forestry division told me. Take care.

I have the titanium version, and yes, it is a beautiful stove to look at as well as to play with! Thank you for the great video.
William Burr glad you enjoyed it 👍

Funny you said that, I do have a birthday coming up and I was looking for one of these to ask for. I guess that is exactly what I'll do.

Great video! How long before the box is cool to the touch? Cheers
Daniel M once the coals have died down or you tip them out I’d say depending on the ambient temperature I’d say between 15 to 20 min as a guess
thanks man, that was fast. Gotta get me one :)

He’s right

Nice review. Link to the kettle please?
Mark Cutler Thanks here’s the link www.raymears.com/Bushcraft_Product/1371-Eagle-Products-1-5-Litre-Kettle/
Nice,.. But I would consider the 'Firebox' to be superior in design and use.
They do look well made
Steve of 'Firebox' has made it into a science. There are a tonne of great videos on UA-cam (Firebox stove).
Love the Bluebells, by the way !!
Biggest difference are the Firebox accessories. Very little difference in the stoves themselves.
I'm so sorry about your ear. Looks awful
U can’t please everyone
