#paverpatio #diy We are average homeowners. We built a large paver patio. If we can do it, you can too. This video hopefully will motivate you to give it a go.
Only thing I would say is lay a weed control fabric down before you pour the leveling sand. Helps with not letting grass grow through over time. Great vid. 👍🏾
Thank you for a very helpful video, the patio installation in its entirety, is just one of the great things about this! I'll give the condensed list, that having been one the second being all the necessary steps are shown and In order, bonus "don't do this" too... You're wrong about one thing tho, that patio couldn't be more perfect!!!
No real movement. One corner has settled a little bit more than I would like. Prolly need to pull that corner up and add a little more paver base. Maybe I‘ll do an update video on it sometime soon! Thanks for watching.
hell, i define imperfections as character. perfect is boring. and yeah, almost is well nearer to close. kudos bro. that patio is freaking awesome. and by the way, how'd that pull pork go?
I appreciate it man. The pulled pork was great. I think I ate 3 meals on it before I got tired of it. I‘ll be trying a brisket flat tomorrow. My first time. It‘s a tiny one, but it should be good I hope!
Awesome job! I've watched 100s of videos trying to learn how to put down pavers or gravel for my patio, felt like it was too technical of a job. But seeing you guys do this gives me confidence! It's not as technical as everyone on YT makes it out to be.
I can‘t remember exactly, but I think it literally had „paver base“ on the bag, I just don‘t remember the brand. There may be a close up of the bag in the video. Thanks for the comment!
I think we spent somewhere around 600 bucks or something for all of the paver stones and paver base. Could’ve gotten it cheaper if we had a load of paver base dumped on our property instead if buying bags, but we didn’t want to deal with a huge pile of the stuff and if we had extra we didn’t want to have to worry with cleaning it up. Also could’ve saved a lot if we didn’t build such a huge patio.
This is the video I've been wanting to see. Regular people making a few shortcuts and still satisfied!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate the comment!

I actually have had very little grow through three cracks. Of course, I have sprayed what I have seen, but it has not been bad at all, surprisingly.
Thank you for this video. I wanted to find a video of a regular person doing this.
Nice job. Like me, you are blessed with a hands on wife. Sure makes life more enjoyable.
Nothing you build yourself is imperfect! 🙌🏽
Cheers man!
Thanks!
"Almost...not even close." 😂😂😂. Looks great though.
Thanks man!
I have a similar setup. You just gave me the confidence to do mine. So, thank you for the video

Great job it look very nice 👌 👍
How are they holding up now? Any movement? Any pictures you can share?

What did this cost?

WOW, it's great crossing paths with someone else who believes those exact same things Denis! Perspective and perception...

Big Saving
U r funny man…I live in Minnesota..will this work
Regular folks doing this love it
I really appreciate watching a regular person do this. Could you provide the base that you bought before putting the pavers down?

Thank you.. I needed this kinda video
Cool. Glad it was useful for you!
Great job man and in only a couple days.
great video, looking to do the same.....
Looks great nice work
Thanks!
Good stuff!
Nice job! What were they dimensions?
It was like 8x19 in the video, I think. We ended up adding and extra row later so it is 20 feet long now.
I bet it was satisfying Chris. What was the total cost like?
Im wondering the same. Y’all did a great job-gave us new ideas to finish out under the deck.

@@ChrisMcDowellDIY Tarp would help with that. Not sure about disposal of the leftovers, though.
Looks pretty good👍🏾
Thanks!
Good stuff! Looks great!
Thanks Charles!
