    It looks great. Interior Designers are, by nature, perfectionists. It's a blessing, and a curse.

      So true! That’s why it’s good to have someone else in your life that can balance that out. 🤦‍♀️

    Looks amazing!!! This is a project I would have attempted 20 or 30 years ago. Now in my 50s, I hire someone 😅 My patience and body (knees) aren’t what they used to be. I’m so impressed by your abilities!! Beautiful work ❤ Thanks for sharing with us!!

      I hear ya! We had to take it in smaller increments. It was a lot of work, but it was doable. Thanks! 😊

      I agree! I am really looking forward to fall. We finished it just in time for summer, but now it's too hot to sit out there!

    Dremel Max is a good tool for sawing hard surfaces. I have used it when repairing bathroom floor tile areas. In fact, your obsession over slope reminds me of my tile project, and turns out, my floor was more perfectly level than the pro job I was fixing! Go us!!
    My husband has been talking about creating a paver patio at the storage area under the deck. I'm sure he will like this product, and I'm sharing this video with him. When he and I team up on a project, the kids always feel obligated to joke: how many engineers does it take to change a light bulb?

      I need to check out the Dremel Max. Ha, good for you! I think we just take more care since it’s our project!

    What a great tutorial…well done and nice job. Please, Please, Please don’t wear sandals or running shoes when laying the pavers. Safety shoes are the way to go! Safety first. Again, great tutorial and nice job. On with the next project. 😁

      It sounds worse when I speed up the video, but it’s not too bad in real life. We actually like it better than having back neighbors. 😅

    Paver panel not necessary. Just another product to buy. Looks great.

      “…panel not necessary…” Putting the pavers on only 1/2-inch sand base would not work. The whole value of the panel is not excavating and filling with 3-5 inches of rock and sand.

    How much does the material cost for this project?

    • @ivylaneinteriors
      @ivylaneinteriors  20 днів тому

      Just under $1000. I was able to buy the bricks off season for $.25 each. That saved a few hundred dollars.
