Love your presentation and your little bloopers. It’s part of the charm. Love your UA-cam handle. Ours is the Delano FB which is the same as the Tiburon you featured. We had the toilet changed to porcelain. The shower curtain is actually good. For us the floor plan is what we like. Enjoy your Tiffin and no more problemas. Happy journey.
Sorry about that. We could have sworn it was the Delano, but you are correct. Sometimes we live up to our handle. Thanks for understanding. The video where we reviewed the Delano is this one: ua-cam.com/video/5SuwXM4MCSA/v-deo.html
@@halffasttravelers2702 it’s the same, no difference just two different names on the same product. A little quip: if you break down the word DELANO (de la no) it literally means of the ass in Spanish. I wanted to name our rig Tina (my mother’s nickname that my father used) but my husband calls it Alba, short for Albatross (🤪🤪). Our first rv was a 2022 Nova Li Promaster on a Dodge Ram. We bought it at the beginning of September 2022 and 4 months later we decided it wasn’t for us because my husband kept referring to it as living in a shoebox and sleeping on a concrete slab. Just like you we went to Tampa RV 2023 and bought the Delano. However we couldn’t take it home from the show and so we headed home in our B. We broke down on US 98 out of Lakeland. The transmission broke and so we waited 11 hours on the side of the highway until we found a tow truck company that was willing to tow the van. Anyway don’t want to bore you with our debacles. Enjoy your journey together, you seem like a wonderful couple. Keep doing your videos about your journey, rv campgrounds and your sightseeing adventures.
“High swing your legs toilet” 😂 That would be me at less than 5’0 ft tall. Little Guy Max did an EXCELLENT job with their FX model! Nice layout and upgrade!! Thor has a bad quality reputation!
We try to create a mental picture with some of our descriptions, but that wasn't our intention with that one. Glad you got a laugh out of it though. We agree that Thor needs to do better. Perhaps they can find a way to increase quality in some small areas (cabinets) and still keep costs down. We will have to wait and see.
@@halffasttravelers2702 I was speaking for myself and giggled because I imagined myself in that position. We definitely decided that we didn’t want to tow. I do admit that I liked the Little Guy Mini Max FX. We originally looked at the Airstream Caravel 16RB and the inTech Aucta Magnolia which is a new model with a new name. We even looked at the nuCamp teardrop travel trailers but after we reconsidered how we wanted to use and travel with our RV, we decided on the Class B. It is basically for the same reason you had. We wanted to go everywhere and park anywhere.
It sounds like you did your due diligence and extensive research & comparisons. We are so glad you found the right RV for you and your RV style. Happy Travels!!
We were a little concerned about Thor's purchase of Tiffin, but from what I understand, most of the operation hasn't changed...yet. Thanks for your posts.
Thank you for the great content. We just ordered the Tiffin Wayfarer RLW. We'll be getting the new Mercedes four cylinder twin turbo engine. Did you look at the RLW at the Tampa show. We liked it because it had 1200 lb of cargo carrying capacity versus the much less cargo carrying of the other models.
Yes we did see the RLW and we liked that one too. We are just enamored with the openness of the RW. We weren't aware of the cargo difference. Thanks for the info and thanks for your comment. We hope you enjoy your new RV.
@@halffasttravelers2702 The Wayfarer RLW doesn't have the slide that's why the cargo carrying capacity is a lot more. We were concerned by the time both of us and our dogs and our gear and a little water in the tank it would be pretty near what I believe was only 800 lb capacity.
Luke the representative from Tiffin has been great to us through the pre-production process. One of the reasons we choose Tiffin is because they are a high quality RV manufacturer.
I am so sorry, but in typical Half Fast fashion I directed you to the wrong video. The Leisure vans are in the video entitled: "We Toured 20 Class B+ RVs. Which is Your Favorite." We shot them at the same show, and I apologize for wasting your time. Please check out. Thanks for understanding.
The more Thors we see, the less we like them. However, they do have some really nice floor plans and designs. We just wish they used higher quality materials.
You make a great point. Driving these huge "sails" can be a real challenge in windy conditions. Maybe the Crosswind Assist in the Mercedes will work better on the big units.
Yes they do, but we are told that Tiffin has been maintaining their levels of quality since their acquisition by Thor. We will have to wait and see what kind of changes, if any, Thor makes to the manufacturing process.
Thanks for the reviews of the 4 Class C-B's.
Our pleasure! We've done a few videos on these smaller RVs and people seem to love them. Thanks for your comment.
🎉"I love our class B"
not for long 😊
Ha ha. Compromise is what life is all about. Dan will always love the Patriot though.
I love the Chinook Maverick. If I win the lottery I will have one of my own
We did too, but we didn't care for the cabinets too much. The floor plan and body construction were great though. Thanks for the comment.

Great story. Thanks for sharing a bit of your experience. Maybe we'll see you in Tampa in January.

Very cool! I liked the same one you two liked.
Thanks! It's always good to have some validation. lol
Great video Half Fast Travelers, very informative! I was quite impressed with the Tiffin too. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it! We'll be posting more RV tours from the show. We just couldn't fit them all here. Stay tuned...
Tiffin is great overall. They stand behind their products.

Wow, that's not a lot of storage. Thanks for the information.@@kip5588
Did you order straight from the factory? We assumed one of the dealers had to be involved.@@kip5588
I slowly scanned this video, twice, and kind find the Leisure Travel Vans...???

So did u go with the tiffin? 🍻
We haven't pulled the plug yet for a few different reasons. We'll be giving an update as soon as we do a bit more research. Thanks.
I do not do Thor anything. They could do pocket doors.
The more Thors we see, the less we like them. However, they do have some really nice floor plans and designs. We just wish they used higher quality materials.
Fifthwheels
We take a look at a few Fifth Wheels in tomorrow's video release. Stay tuned...

Thor owns Tiffin.
Yes they do, but we are told that Tiffin has been maintaining their levels of quality since their acquisition by Thor. We will have to wait and see what kind of changes, if any, Thor makes to the manufacturing process.
Be careful of Thor products. They have build quality issues.😢
Thanks, we had heard that have had issues in the past.
No Trk camper Too Small
Rose definitely agrees with you on this one. I think they're really cool.

Yes, we've seen the Liz Amazing video. What an ordeal!
