Not that these Western governments ever look in the mirror at their own deadly and destructive behaviour, bombing and looting other countries and killing millions of innocent people globally, especially in the Middle East. Also, what about when America shot down an Iranian plane in 1988 during the Iran-Iraq war and killed a bunch of innocent people? The U.S. later, in 1996, financially compensated the victims but refused to take responsibility and accountability. Did Canada refer to U.S. forces who committed that crime as terrorists or a terrorist group? No. I'm pointing out the two-faced and hypocritical nature of so many people in Western countries, who have caused more death and damage than the Iranian regime through wars, conflict, etc.
I say this as someone who supports designating the I.R.G.C. as a terrorist group and kicking the estimated 700 members currently in Canada out. I'm simply telling Western countries like Canada to look in the mirror because they won't acknowledge their hypocrisy.
