This show is so much better than its MAL rating. I love them two together lol and the fact they have similar personalities makes it better.
Love Akutsu's way of thinking here. He realizes that while on the surface he and Lily are enemies, he cant think of one bad thing about her. Kind of like a Angel/Demon version of Romeo and Juliet.
No idea where you got that from, he was never asked about any of her bad points, and he can probably think of a few, though they don't necessarily outweigh the positives.
Honestly, she shouldn't be surprised at his answer, considering how she is controlling him.

@@lastnamefirstname2390That term is constantly getting abused, this show it's a great romcom which does exactly what it's supposed to: it gives you funny moments while developing a romantic relationship. So no, it's not "mid", it's a great show for whoever likes this types of stories, while for the other people, they should have not watch it in the first place since it was obvious what it was about since the first episode.

Is the show some groundbreaking masterpiece? No, but it's still quite enjoyable, and does it's job well enough.
At worst, it's average, which is perfectly fine.
@@MFAN1100 I mean, "mid" is not really an insult. And, this anime isn't anything special. It's basically a copy of previous romcom anime. The most striking similarities are from Love is War.
This one feels more like the anime doesn't know what genre it wants to be in. First episode starts off with a fight scene and an uncomfortable enslavement scene, then the next few episodes become Love is War but worse, and then episode 10 becomes this very uncomfortable assault scene with her own brother ripping away part of her dress. And then it ends with one of the worst cliches in RomCom anime, the typical misunderstanding scene of "How dare you take my virginity away!" and an implied kiss scene.
I think, MAL rating this 6.8 or whatever is being too generous. The art style and animations are good, but the story is irregular. Many of the scenes don't make any sense. Ep11 and 12 have some very poor reasons from Lily and Lilia.
Also, don't forget the whole enslaving thing in episode 1. She literally put a belt on the guy's neck. That is disturbing as heck. If you find that enjoyable, I mean, okay, you do you. But, you saying "it does it's job well enough" does not seem true at all.

He never actually answered the yes or no question. He's taken into account that he as a demon and her, an angel are from opposing ends of a war.
