BBQ Brisket Fried Rice recipe: blackstoneprod...
Ingredients
1.5 lbs leftover brisket (substitute any BBQ meat you have on hand)
2 bags Jasmine ready rice
3-4 green onions, chopped (whites and green tops separated)
1-2 tablespoons butter
½ cup BBQ sauce
¼ cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons ginger paste
2 teaspoons garlic paste
¼ cup frozen peas
Directions
1. Set the griddle to low heat.
2. Add the BBQ meat to the griddle to warm up. Chop it into bite-sized pieces as it heats.
3. Add butter to the griddle, then add the rice. Pour in about ¼ to ½ cup of water to steam and loosen the rice. Cover and cook for about 2 minutes. Remove the cover, then toss and cook the rice until it is loose and fully heated, about 4-5 minutes.
4. In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, soy sauce, garlic paste, and ginger paste. Mix well.
5. Add the chopped brisket and green onion whites to the rice. Mix well. Then, add the frozen peas.
6. Pour the sauce over the rice mixture and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
7. Remove from the griddle, garnish with green onion tops, and enjoy!

Looks amazing. But I would have added two eggs to that mix. I think I’m going to make fried rice for dinner tonight. LOL.
Exactly what I was thinking
Fried rice is always a good idea!
I do something similar with leftover pulled pork and Japanese BBQ sauce with a bag of mixed frozen veggies.
Could do this with pork and even ribs too. So good and easy as well!
That sounds delicious!
Excellent leftovers recipe👍😊
It’s a great way to get rid of them for sure.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching.
Looks pretty good Hussey. That brisket looks so tender and delicious. I would just add a little bit of hot sauce on mine. Great Groceries Matt.

Recommendation from my Japanese wife who loves American BBQ: First, one egg, scrambled, per serving. Second, "The Original Japanese BBQ Sauce."
Thanks for the tips!
Add some sesame seeds before you serve up
