I am the kind of person who (when I follow someone I like) will watch your video (the same one) on FB, Instagram and UA-cam b/c I know that the views help you. But everyone is trying to get more now. Everyone wants you to pay per view. We have plenty of bills each month. We just don’t have more to give for something that quite frankly is not necessary. I have enjoyed watching Claire, Carson, June and Millie growing up. But I just don’t feel great about all of the new subscriptions on UA-cam. And I mean ALL of them. Not just this channel.
I was touched by Dave’s surprise for Ashley. I watched as they worried whether they’d be able to get water or not. I was looking forward to seeing Ashley’s new dream house. But if that is paid subscription only, I guess this is where the road ends for me. I wish you guys well.
I'm a bit unsure about this move as well. I love the family and loved watching them grow but I think this somehow feels like a more serious money-making business venture, and I feel like the track record on kids being in a reality show or monetized channel has not been very good. Good luck to you though, Crosbys!
I agree with you. So sad it all comes down to this.One of the reasons i watched was to hear Clair sing. But they havent been posting any song videos for a while now ( no full songs, just clips). Actually, they havent been posting a lot lately. And now they want some payment to see them? I kinda felt this was coming. It is sad. They are going to loose a lot of subscribers. Oh well, maybe someday we wll be seeing Claire in some music show. I wish you guys well also.

I’m not a fan of the paid subscription. It’s nothing personal, I’ve followed you for a long time and your family is delightful…I’m a wildlife photographer and several big photographers are doing this subscription thing. Money is tight…I’m not doing this for anyone I was following…that fee adds up to pay it for each you were following. I catch you when I can on utube….love you guys, good luck and blessings on your new adventure ❤️❤️❤️

I would love to see the extra content and updates, but unfortunately I don't live in the US and the conversion rate at the moment makes it more than double the cost for me, and not something I can afford. I hope you continue to share on here and Insta/Facebook so we can still hear the music and fun family times, and the house building progress ❤ Have been following you since Claire was 3 😊
Same here! I've been following them since the video where they told Claire and Carson about June. I'm a bit sad that I'll be missing out but right now, I really cannot afford the subscription price … hope they'll still keep us all updated.

Yes, 😢 this is very sad for all of us who can't afford to follow you anymore. Some of us are so far away from our own kids and grandkids. We love you all so much and just feel so sad we can't be a part of your family anymore. Please don't let money be a factor here. We all need our family. Hmm... so while we've seen a bit less of you than we used to (& there was a block not long ago where you seemed totally missing), suddenly you'll be doing more? So how does that work for you with your time? I hate it when every channel I follow goes to a special subscription club, making the rest of us feel 2nd class. There's those of us who are pensioners & can't afford anything extra (I've just last night had to cancel some things from my budget). There's also a Cost of Living Crisis at the moment (with Australia in a 'recession' of sorts). Plus, there's those of us not in the US (eg I'm in Australia), so not available to see regular live streams (although I have spotted part of a few, because I was up during the middle of the night, still). It'll be good for you guys to raise some more income for yourselves. It'll be good for US followers who can afford it. But for me, looks I'll be a 2nd class follower on here, too, despite following you from just about the beginning of Claire's start to her singing career. Good for you for this new initiative, but don't forget the rest of us loyal followers. And please don't make us feel 2nd class as every other channel does who decides to do the exclusive membership route. I want to see more of Millie as she grows - she's an absolute cutie. Anyway, good for for you & those in the US (ie time-wise) & who can afford it. Please don't neglect us who can't join up, especially when content seemed to dropped off not long ago this year as it was. 😢

I’m sad…I’d love to join & see house updates and all the other stuff but just can’t take on anymore monthly expenses.It’s not much what you’re asking for but I’m drowning just with my basic rent,utilities & medical expenses & I’m very sick and unable to work I just can’t add more even as much as I’d really like to but I have no doubt many others will be able to. I would if I could.

I WOULD ASK MY MOM FOR FLUFFY DRESSES JUST TO BE LIKE CLAIRE I was so happy of you guys weekly and cute family trips every friday now you never upload and you never EVER post to you're fans who has been there for like half of you guys lifes! well maybe next time post for us you will be missed and I will be sad for like my whole life have A NICE LIFE FAMILY!! I was grateful for you back then but now I think I wont be seeing you guys till next month but by have a nice life!.

1.this feels like a sellout. You already don't post your weekly videos anymore, how will you keep up with this?
2. Is this more content from you, the parents.. or are the kids being pushed to perform? If so, do they get paid?
Family vlogging in general is being more scrutinized these days. I've always supported you saying, not the Crosbys, they don't ever exploit their kids. I don't like this idea at all. It lumps you in with those other families... How about you just have a shop where you sell your sheet music, etc? Then it's not about the kids. I love all of Ashley's posts on social media, I hope they don't end or sit behind a pay wall. You said when this all to lol off you didn't want your kids paying the bills.. Please tell me they still won't be.

I agree. Ruby Franke forced her kids to make content for her UA-cam channel 8 Passengers. I’m still extremely conflicted about the exploitation of children, especially when they’re not old enough to consent. I hope they have a time to properly be children and not care who’s watching and not be burdened by the fact they are the family’s only source of income…

This is the first time I’m commenting but I just wanted to tell you guys-I’ve been watching your videos since Claire was 3 and I don’t follow anyone else on UA-cam. I don’t have insta or any social media because it’s not in my value system. At first I was (and still am) so impressed by the talent God has blessed your family with, but the reason I keep watching is I am more impressed by the beautiful character traits your children have and I always hope to learn some indirect parenting tips for my own kids and even marriage tips from you guys. (I know there are plenty normal hard moments missing from videos but there are certain aspects a family can never edit or fake) I’m not going to subscribe because I think I wouldn’t want to be too invested to UA-cam.. but I wish you the best of luck always! Keep to your beautiful values, thank you for all the inspiration and entertainment, God should bless you always.

Sad thing about UA-cam is it is so difficult for content providers to make money with their channels. So they have to diversify.

Great you can do this. However it has been do disappointing to have so many you tubers starting up “for pay” channels. So many things i have been watching have gone this route which would cost me a ridiculous amount of money. My response eventually is going to drop it all.

Membership is not an option for me, a retiree on limited income. I’m glad you still plan on doing the regular videos because I can’t afford the membership and extras that come with it. I’m sure there are plenty of those who can get this membership and have the extra $$.

I have followed you from the beginning and part of the reason for that is that from the beginning you always said that your channel wasn’t about making money. In Australia the monthly charge for the new club is $7.49. That’s nearly $1.90 a week. In the current climate of a cost of living crisis I cannot justify that when I can buy 1L of milk for less than that. I guess I’ll just have to settle for whatever crumbs are thrown the way of those of us that can’t pay.
