If you think you can go solo sloop against gally - forget about it. Chainshots are nerfed and these guys were incredibly trash, probably brand new to the game and not even full crew. All it takes is one harpoon or boarder and sloop is sunk.

It's important when sailing a Galleon to realize the ship and crew size does not mean you can deal with every threat. I have been sunk to a Sloop more than a few times on a Galleon to know they are capable of being a threat

I don’t want to diminish your cannon shots cause those are on point. However, that gal crew is HOT CACA. They were not being boarded and still couldn’t even repair the ship. Still tho great shots and great job maintaining your own ship.

My best pvp moment would be when me and my brother were on a sloop being chased. We did a harpoon turn around a large rock formation, and the other ship lost track of us by crashing into the side of the rocks.

My guess is that they did an open crew and thought that a little sloop would be easy picking 😂 I have improved since then though. Me and my friends once went against a galleon and ended up crashing into eachother and got locked up with eachother, I think they were pinned on an island. We all started blasting eachother with firebombs and fighting while everyone was on fire. I don't know how, but we actually managed to sink them, I remember the paint job of our brig being so fucked up and the deck being completely charred black

Thanks so much dude! The cannons are the "Triumphant Sea Dog Cannons". They are sadly not available anymore. It was a reward from "The Arena". But the "Killer Whale Cannons" that you get from Hunters Call are basically the same...or even better if you ask me!
@@STEFANLOF np, I just had no idea you could switch between items like that with the cannons, neither did I know you can sorta zoom in with them. That probably would have helped against a reaper brig that was chasing me one time as a solo slooper with a lvl 1 gold hoarder flag lol
@@STEFANLOF yeah hopefully. The last brigs I've encountered that tried me failed at catching my little sloop. Used the wind against them. But I have used the ability to switch items on cannons against sloops while on galleons to stop them from escaping or trying to do the death spiral.

I don't want to deprive you of pleasure, but the fact is that this galleon was playing just poorly, as if I had to compare it to what happens to me while fighting, only tryhards and each of them probably after 2000 hours in the game and thats why I personally dont want to play it anymore. day after day I am destroyed, just wasting my time and enjoyment of the game :/
But that's just the thing with Sea of Thieves. Sometimes you come across a crew that can't handle a Galleon (like in this video). And sometimes you can get totally destroyed by a Sloop. And you never know if they are sweats or noobs until the fighting starts - Hahaha! Wow that galleon is really bad. They should have had you dead to rights the moment you messed up that first anchor turn. They should have had at minimum 3 cannons blasting you to pieces.

Why did you not use the rigging ball? Then they wouldn’t been able to raise the masts once knocked down.
