I laughed out loud about your enthusiastic cat getting into the fight mode. You are such a good story teller btw! Loved listening to all of it, thank you 🫶 Edit: I’m very sorry to hear that you’ve had a difficult time and many not so good days.. wishing you the best!
Thank you so much!!! That's really a huge compliment to me, I love telling stories 🥰 but yes haha, Kitty's fight mode is quite something 😅 hope December is better for all of us!!
perfect video for body doubling today (also i never finish video games, i understand you haha 😅) edit: omg yes Evermore is my winter album i play it constantly this time of year i used to make playlists every month of my favorite songs of the month but because sometimes it's just full albums i'm obsessed with, i've been doing more my year playlists (like a playlist just called "2023" with all my favorite things from this year because some months i might literally just listen to two songs lol)
yessss evermore fans rise up! and video game not-finishers 😅 love the idea of a yearly playlist! I've been splitting mine by season lately, but having the same issue of it just being entire albums lol
Medieval history geek here too (I may or may not have a couple of degrees in medieval history...). Added "I, Julian" to my TBR pile, and I *think* I have Alison Weir's book already. Who is the historian you mentioned in a few other videos? I'd like to check her stuff out!
Every game I love, I start building myself a database of information that I feel like I need to have at my fingertips before I start playing (I will probably restart)… and start burning out before I can even play the game >_
Purely based off conjecture and some informed guesswork, but I think narwhals are connected to Christmas because they are essentially aquatic unicorns (talking about the horn, of course, obviously, lol) and unicorns, believe it or not, are traditional Middle Age iconography symbolizing Christ, specifically in relation to his Virgin Mother.

Ahhhhh yay! Medieval history is the best 🥰 The historian is Janina Ramirez - her book Femina is amazing!
