Blink-182 performed with special guest Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) filling in for Tom Delonge LIVE at Musink 2015 at OC Fairgrounds on Sunday 3.22.2015.
Since they recruited matt theyre playing alot more of the classic blink stuff that everyone loves, tom belongs in AvA now, just the way it is, but thanks to skiba the blink legacy lives on

Jorge Flores I agree, I always thought tom had a studio voice and was not into it at all live after the mark tom and Travis show. Skiba is a better performer imo but tom was more fun, again imo
everyone always mentions matt's vocals. for me, it's the guitar tone. I always thought, whenever I saw blink on the reunion/neighbourhoods tour that Tom's guitar tone was horrible. skiba's rig is closer to Tom's old rig so I think it sounds a lot better.
Oathe. His guitar work is so tight. Sounds like the record. Tom just turned into a flog with his crappy thin grainy guitar. Nothing wrong with his vocals. In key/time. He simply doesn't sound like Tom but that doesn't matter!
Wow. He sounded good back then. By 2019, that was not the case. His voice was not suited for some of the blink songs and it seems like he sort've blew it out from extensive touring. Glad he got throat surgery though because the last Alkaline Trio I saw him at in September he sounded great again.
I miss Tom, but live, you all got to admit, he really sucked. Tom's playing got worse from 2003-current with Blink, but on the other hand, it was always perfect with AvA. He was just tired of Blink and hammed it up on purpose. Matt's skills are pretty much perfect, just miss the nasaly Tom voice!
thats what in say. i personally love matt but even if one doesnt like him, gotta admit that tom and mark were a little overwhelmed in blink, it was good tom quit before it fucked up their friendship
Tom has really stepped it up with Blink now. This time around he's killing it. To be fair he even had trouble at the AVA shows back then. He's better with AVA now too.
I really hope they become more punk than the last album. Matt doesn't fit because he is playing way different music now. we all know Travis can go pretty fucking hard core so why can't all of them?

Michael Cinco Hell no. Toms voice was unique and he can actually sing. Listen to the Mark Tom and Travis show. That was live... and he sounded like the recordings. He’s great now in AVA
