Nah realistically it's almost impossible to downpick this lol, especially with the speed they used to play live. Even studio speed it's insanely hard. He definitely used to do up & downstrokes where people thought it was just downstrokes. He even used to up/downstroke the palm muting back in the day when playing live, even when it was all downstrokes on the record.
