Great job and great idea. These Studio Series Dinobot are the best official Dinobots we have ever gotten. With that said, it is Fanstoys all the way for me. I finally was able to finish all the Fanstoys Dibots, minus Grinder to go with my Masterpiece Grimlock and I could not be happier. They are not cheap but in my opinion are well worth the money. If I did not already start collecting the Dibots years ago I probably would have gone all in with these Studio Series Dinobots. For me the Fanstoys Dibots scale better with my Titan Class Devastator. Would love to see how the Studio Series Dinobots compare next to Power of the Primes / Generations Volcanicus. Keep up the great work!
I'm just glad they got Slag right 🤜🤛 I pretty much just consider the Daniel add-in as a "looks nice from the front" accessory riding on Slag's shoulder lol.
I find the Fanstoys bots a bit overhyped and definitely dated. It’s impressive to me that hasbro of all companies has produced some of the best looking dinobots. Even comparing these to other 3P chug intended bots from a few years back they just blow them out of the water. This is one of those cases where I’m super glad I sold off my MP stuff when I did because a lot of these hasbro releases have been so much more worth their price imo.
I still really like the MP and Fanstoys stuff, but if I had known studio series and WFC/Legacy would up their game so much the past few years, i may not have gone as deep into MP as I did.
I keep talking myself out of slag everytime I go shopping. Talked myself out of it again this morning. Couldn't talk myself out of Grimlock though but I'm almost fucking 50, I should probably stop buying toys

The Fans Toys version looks brilliant. I recently picked up the Studio Series Slag/Slug. Really nice figure for the price. Great comparison 👍
