You used Isocol, which is only 64% alcohol. It contains water and a fragrance too - maybe why you had a few rough spots on your paint job. Buy Isopropyl Alcohol or Acetone from Bunnings. Dirt cheap, not worth skimping on.
Acetone is more or less a Thinner (eats at paint) use prepsol witch is a professional based product most shops use 👌🏼 doesn't eat however it's an alcoholic product that "cleans" the surface 👍🏻
@@Getsum-ii Acetone is often used for paint prep. Doesn't matter if it "eats at paint" - it's for prep. It's cheap and available in more places than Prepsol.
@@stew_redman oh yea i understand, just in the past I've used primer covered the damage nicely and the acetone at the primer - had to redo the whole thing therefore personally I use prepsol from now on 🤷♂️
Just use bloody prepsol, it’s cheap insurance!! 🙄🙄
Quick tip, if you upload in 1440p, UA-cam will allocate higher bitrate to your videos, making them look much shaper on UA-cam.
Same goes for recording and uploading in 1080p60 (please do 60fps lol ❤️)

If you shake up can we'll and then put cans in bucket of hot water for 10 makes primer,paint and clear flow nicer !

At this point u could of bought a basic LVLP paintgun, getting small paint tins colour matched are much cheaper then getting cans every time, and youll have left over 2k clear after the first time u buy it for other projects, last bumper , skirts and fenders i done cost me $40 and off the gun looks 100% better then cans
Where did you get those spray cans and 2k clear? I've used the supercheap stuff before and didn't come up nowhere as good.
Fix up that left hand side Fender and do the exact same thing what you've done to the bumper bar using the same stuff that you have used on the bumper bars I bet it'll come rather nice and shiny
should have swapped the front fenders before towing… then painted it silver with the bumper

You could scotch the bumper (providing it has no damage) only good for colour change ...but scotch use some wet on wet primer (at this point your proving to yourself if your prep is good or not) if fkd wait to dry sand it back (if good no need to sand go with colour right over the wet primer) hence the name wet on wet 😌👌🏼
In my shop that reaction you got? Thats from going wet on wet and not letting it dry (the thinners in the primer ate through your colour) which leads your with a ugly bumper 👍🏻 hope this helps
At 1st i didnt understand but you can paint colour and paint the clear a month later lol makes no sence cause it "needs" to be sanded to grip but itll still grip lol idk how that works but it workss

Isocynate is present in the hardener in the clear coat. Only thing that stops it from getting to your lungs is breathable air. Not a 3m vapour mask, just thought I'd throw that out there haha

You can try using a heat gun on those bubbles very lightly and don’t stay in one spot, that’s if it is trapped moisture worked a treat for me
