I came across someone on ebay, that was selling the ps5/pc pro kit that was purchased in January, and in excellent condition. He just upgraded to the simagic 23nm kit. I ended up purchasing it for $675 but after my rewards it was only $625. Can't wait man, all I need now is some pro pedals. Looks like I'm joining the Logitech family at just the right time. I'm pumped being a noob but hopefully I'll catch on pretty quick.
Bought the pro wheel and pedals 3 or 4 months ago. Bought the adapter. 2 months ago I got the track wheel and hub 3 days ago. Keeping my h shifter with custom knob with my pro unit. Reason I went the route I did as I have a second full simulator running my old G920 on it. have something break I can mix and match till i get one or the other fixed. CHEERS! Must be more out their thinking like me. I think it will go well.
You know I think, before release, anyone would been happy we got those things. Most expected, expensive wheel and shifter. We got decently priced with decent quality shifter, handbrake, qr adapter and wheels. With places them on pair with Moza and Fanatec I think. Only things missing now are - proper licensed wheels - f1 wheel - quality H pattern I only like manual in real life, in good cars to add to that. No need for dual clutch paddels, for VR and rally they actually get in the way. I like the looks of the GT wheel and its 290mm, don’t need for them to look like real thing if they look clean. Would like better looking shifters though, they look like a toy. But they look reliable from comments of UA-camrs and feel good, that matter more to me. The rally wheel should been 300-320mm and at max 80€, MOMO one is 200€ and I prefer Logitech material used anyway over Alcsnatra which gets dirty after a month or two.
Absolutely. Something is better than nothing which is what we had the last 2 years and they have to start somewhere. Just would have reaaaaaaaaaaaaally wanted that H-shifter 😎
Then if what they brought out is to your liking, I am happy you didnt have to wait too long but in perspective to the product lifecycle, they just took very long
@@SimulatedDrivingResource True, and we were really looking forward to a good quality H-shifter, so I guess we are stuck with the cheap H-shifter and the adapter for another 2 years. Now the waiting begins.
@@lindachung1824 I bought the DriveHub adapter for the G Pro about a year ago. I did so mainly to un-nerf the full FFB (now have the full 11nm). The DH allows you to use peripherals from other companies. The Fanatec and Thrustmaster H shifters are compatible, but the Moza is not. I bought the latter and can't use it for my PS5, but I can for the PC.
No need to be sorry, I just hoped you were OK. I am sorry to hear that man. I hope you get it smoothened out some but well I am just happy to hear from you again. 💙👽
Depends on when you bought into the system.... if you bought a G Pro on day one of release, then yes you are right. But, if you only bought in 2 months ago, you didn't wait long at all for add-ons. Except a good H-shifter
Absolutely. It is all about perspective. I only have mine for half a year now I think but I just compare it to the product lifecycle vis a vis the competition. And yes, the absence of a simple H-shifter is very disappointing 😕
Better late than never. I am interested in the Upcoming Momo 32rs wheel. Now I have ordered the hub and round wheel. I think it is a little bit too small but I will see but what I missed the most was the handbrake (pre ordered will arrive after the 30.9). For me personally I never want to miss Trueforce for me it is a game changer.
@@mhillenaar old h shifter works well for me. Has a custom knob on it that makes it feel and look much bettter. Plugs into adapter then into pro wheel. My ebrake plugs directly into computer.
Today i got the Hub and Round Wheel. The hub is great the Round wheel is a little bit too small how I expected it. I also don’t like the Silikonleather. The 291 mm size should be better with the rs track wheel. Now I have to wait for the Momo 32 round wheel wich I think will be awesome.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource it feels different maybe it is a personal thing but i don’t like it. It is weird for me. With gloves it is okay. The leather or material in the original d shape wheel is really well made and feels way better.
The hub and plates are disappointing. Hubs aren't universal cause of button placement, rs plate is an acquired taste based on looks and round wheel could have been bigger. Also no h pattern, the cheap plastic shifter just cut it. After 2 yrs was expecting more given the competition. Nicer wheel didn't have to be crazy expensive look at Fanatec=McLaren or Thrustmaster = Ferrari. Or non branded Simagic GT Neo. Pricing of hubs and plates okay as better than Fanatec but not moza. Excited bout the QR cause will look to the 3rd party formula rims. Shifter/handbrake also good.

Hate all you want. I love my gpro wheel. I plan on getting both rims
Best drive I experienced so far. No hate from me for the G Pro.

I can only agree. It really is a game changer despite of what other reviewers may say about it.
Where is the H Shifter.. 🤬🤯
I am sure they are holding it back. They must have predicted reactions like this? So many people waiting for an H-pattern.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Let's hope so.... 🙏

Waaaay too late. The market has already been cornered by other brands and these aren't the best of designs
Despite my disappointment may get the rs hub in hop that companies like acelith and mvh are cooking up some better plates.
If you get a hub and remember, let me know what you think of it. 👍

The more fancy wheel indeed is something I dont understand but in general yes, more and especially better was expexted after a 2 year wait
