Its nice to see Reisen portrayed as happy for once. She has...quite a sad backstory.
It's not sad, actually. She just fleed to the Gensokyo because of lunar war (and because of lunar slavery) and then she was sheltered by Kaguya and Eirin. After that they become like a family, that's why she was given a pseudonym "Udongein" by Eirin to make her more special (because you know, there're two Reisen (the second one is current Watatsuki's "pet") and they had no differences in their names at all. So, to sum it up, her backstory is not that sad and she still thinks that lunar capital is a nice place. (but after th15 she's not able to be on the moon, because of "impurity" and that's why she proudly calls herself "Earth rabbit" after those events).

I'm subbed to their official channel and I see them streaming once in a while.
A lot of the creators are involved with Touhou Lost Word, which is really amazing. Getting to see all these groups with their music in a fully endorsed Touhou game, especially after following them for years/from the begining.

yeaaa somewhat XD They took nearly EVERY MEME THEY COULD FIND and put it into Lost Word XD Also every artist who EVER did Touhou music has at least ONE song in it too. Thats why the songcount at current is close to 400 if not 500 already as those lists are somewhat older by now.
Defeat means friendship. Friendship means making amends. Making amends means starting fresh. Starting fresh means building a better future.
And then they do this.
Kaguya and reisen are having a blast. Hurray eientei. Hurray iosys. Now I really want a concert like this in the garden of the sun, like the time when prismrivers sister performed with raiko.
It would be nice to see Yuuka make an appearance.

Not sure this was what I had in mind for a duo remix music video, but I’m impressed with how well both themes blend in well.
Now, how will they implement both of them or would they focus on one of them for the relic story?
Edit: (As of August 28, 2023) They decided to choose Kaguya as the main focus. Unfortunate for Reisen, but good for Kaguya.
Relic Reisen will come later because Kaguya’s Relic Card is translated as Side Kaguya.
Also, it’s a frightening story for Kaguya’s Ruins of Memory.
Edit: (as of 10/2/2023) Relic Reisen’s story is equally as tragic.
Maybe we will have 2 relics units who share the same music (like L1 Joon and L1 Shion).

@@GabePuratekuta Yeah I checked in the journal and even in the game settings. I couldn't find anything mentioning them which is a shame because each unit has three different voice options. That's a lot of voice actors not getting recognition

Speaking of unit release, just thought of something ( yes i have slow brain lol ) , since the music portrays both Reisen and Kaguya, think it could be the first dual unit , Relic Reisen/Kaguya or just a Relic Kaguya with a focus on Reisen references or vice-versa ?

Ruins of Memory is about loss; it's not inherently insanely sad. I don't remember most of the details, but the gist of the Ruins of Memory stories was that Reisen learned a lot from Tewi, Kaguya did lots of questionable things with Eirin, and they eventually ran off to Earth together. You can see some wistfulness in the Last Words, but neither ever stops smiling. (And in case you were wondering, Sanae's tale is pretty similar.)
@@hawaiidkw1 why did you comment this when it was made months before their RoM got released. Also no it’s definitely sad since Eirin ended up killing a lot of humans and Tewi was dying trying to make a weapon for Reisen to fight against the Lunarians
