Ya ok I had such high hopes for this game but this is just asinine. All my other friends both irl and many of the online friends I met have uninstalled this game already. This game is so out of balance it's silly and the proof is in the pudding. People are dropping this game like a bad habit because it's just not fun anymore. Enjoy the sweaty SOLO helldive missions BC this game has clearly lost the lightning they managed to bottle apparently on accident. I'll look into it again if and when it re-learns that games are meant to be enjoyed, not suffered through, which spoiler alert was the whole reason this game got popular to begin with.

I would be surprised if you, or anyone else for that matter would actually read everything bellow, it's a wall of text. First of all they've nerfed the amount of chargers and bile titans. Since they did I've seen at most 4 chargers at the same time on helldiver difficulty with maybe 1 or 2 biles. Obviously, there's a lot of smaller enemies now too, so bring tools to deal with those too! No one decides the difficulty besides you. If you're having issues dealing with everything thrown at you, there's no shame in lowering the difficulty to get a enjoyable experience. Some days I play on helldive, some days I play on hard. Completely depends on how drained I am. I think the game is heading in a very interesting and fun direction. Most weapons have drawbacks that need to be compensated in one way or another for your loadout to be balanced. Introduction to new enemy types are absolutely a fun concept in my opinion. If you're playing solo the higher difficulties are actually super hard. At least since they nerfed the railgun... Obviously, with the autocannon tactic you should get well out of range of the shrieker nest, so they won't bother you. clear up the area of said chargers and bile titans accordingly then get rid of the nest in peace at a good distance away from it. Don't know if it's any good solo, since I don't play solo. An autocannon have space for 10 shots, and the backpack have 100 shots, so when you call it in you have 110 shots. 30 shots is 1/3 of your ammo. The alternative is to run up to the nest, deal with the shriekers and call in a hellbomb while most likely juggling bug breaches etc which easily can be above 30 autocannon shots... This is the tactic that I've found is the most effective for me when I play at least. The game is for the most part balanced for 4 people co-op and not solo. A lot of my friends are starting to drop off slowly as well, but there's still plenty of randoms to play with and 99.5% have been neutral/quite to nice people. Again, if you wanna quit, it's just a game, so quit. video games doesn't have to be end all be all or whatever. I loved league of legends for many years, then I vowed to never play it because I started to dislike it. I still look back fondly on those memories, but it wouldn't even cross my mind to play it again.
The reason your Orbital Precision Strike was missing is because you had the modifier that makes orbitals less accurate. Normally it's pinpoint. Always a sad day for Precision Strike enjoyers when that modifier is in play. I wonder if it affected your orbital barrage tests as well, I admit I haven't used them enough. Just magdumping them with the AMR might be a decent option actually, if your team lets you eat a whole resupply yourself that is, or if you happen to have a replacement AMR ready to drop. But the laser seems the best option by far, while the Eagle Airstrike/Rockets is probably the best offensive stratagem for the job.
Also you made me notice that the shrieker nest as a structure is in between the hardness of a regular nest and the softness of a spore spewer, becausw support weapons work on it but primary weapons don't, and other damages that aren't necessarily explosives work well on it too.
It appears to have the third tier of armor. Not many things have this armor value; really only the Front shield on the Strider, and the head/eye of the Hulk. Weapons with the 2nd level of AP are capable of damaging it; this includes the autocannon, safe mode railgun, AMR, HMG Emplacement, and Las cannon.
HMG emplacement is missing from your list. Takes around 8 seconds or 30% of the magazine to down a spire from the other side of the map so you can destroy all three in around 24 seconds with 10% ammunition to spare. 3 min CD so you can easily destroy a couple nests with it if needed even during a Blitz mission. It's not the most amazing stratagem overall due to the abysmal turn rate but man it eats shrieker nests for breakfast and can be made to work with careful placements for general bug control as well. Highly recommended to run EATs on the side so you can take out that charger before it takes your HMG down.

Airburst destroys all 3 most times if you throw it in the middle. Easily the best if you're close. Auto cannon can snipe from the entire map away. Lay down and have someone team load it, done in seconds.
i love to combine the laser cannon with the laser rover and the sickle laser main weapon. that way i can always switch between the laser cannon and the sickle and let the other cool off. as a bonus the rover kills the small stuff around me.
10:30 the tesla tower, even though not hitting the shrieker, looks like it's getting ready to strike, so maybe if they make the strike animation faster it can hit?
Genuine answer, I think that's the case. I never use precision strike and when i did, it felt wonky, then someone pointed out orbital scatter to me so that's probably it.

Tbh I won't even fault you, I use the precision strike as a default and it's deviation here basically just its blast radius away from the beacon which isn't that much different from the airbursts default deviation (something that has killed me as often as it has killed dozens of enemies in one burst)
I tried lobbing 4 impact grenades on a spire and it didn't break so it'll take more than 4 if only using nades. True though, you can weaken it with other support weapons and throw a nade to finish it off.
@@Pygex I've locked onto the Spires with Spear once. Never was able to replicate it though. The missile hits the base of the spire, so I imagine you need line of sight to the base. 1 shot one kill.
I love the idea but i feel like they shoulda waited a bit. They have too many problems. Corpses one shotting you is bad design, the bug breaches being called in without the pee animation is bad design, and they have a bit too much health. Really needed more time in the oven
I agree, but gotta give props to the devs because even though they sometimes pump new content out too quick, they respond to the community's outcry and iron out the problems soon enough. (Some of the problems, anyway)

Took me 9 shots from autocannon to destroy one tree and that was over 300m. You get lots of spare ammo and can easily find a safe spot to shoot.

I take down a shrieker nests using anti tank for 1 shot each. Aim for the center point and aim a bit lower.

I loved listening to the word spire being broken down into two syllables with a hard pronunciation on the second, “SPY-YUR”.

Forgot to mention, if you're on an egg mission and the eggs have line of sight with the sky, airburst will destroy them all as well.

My favorite is a SEAF mini nuke in the middle of all three spires.
Orbital railgun and rocket pods are super reliable for killing them, also good against bot fabricators.
Recoiless rifle with a buddy reload is the best method. 100s of meters away and takes no time at all.

either auto-cannon or recoilless for me. just drop the backpack and ask a buddy to help reload and voila, best of both worlds

Impact grenade two can destroy the spire. I forgot how many. So I combo eat and 1 grenade

How you spawn a hellbomb for anything: use the strategem when in the area of the mission objective.
Get close enough to it and the hellbomb option will appear in the stratagem menu.
